Students and staff have been hard at work preparing for MAD Day. The final MAD (Making a Difference) day of the year will focus on the cultural diversity of our school. The school council has helped to create a map that highlights all the nations our school population derive from. Additionally, they have made parasols for the playground using traditional fabrics.

Our year 9 GCSE Drama students finally took control of the Donmar Stage. We spent the day with staff from the Donmar Warehouse putting the finishing touches to our piece and performed on the stage to an audience that included actors from the current Donmar show. http://elthamhill.com/2017/06/15/take-stage-2/

25 students from Year 10 and four from Year 9 visited the German capital city of Berlin to put their language skills to the test and to learn more about its culture and fascinating history. They were accompanied by Ms McDermott, Ms O’Brien, (our very own Berlin expert) Ms Colombeau (our very own year 10 expert!) and Mrs Wade.
