This type of thing annoys me severely, and it is completely unnecessary. Is it not enough that I'm using Microsoft's OS day in and day out, that they need to try to get me to use Edge as well? Wanna know why I don't use Edge? Because, even with the fewer extensions available, the moment I turn them on, I enter "This website is reloading" hell. Fixing Edge issues requires a Microsoft Cert and an understanding of PowerShell.

Chrome is solid and I've been using it for a decade, ON WINDOWS. Seriously, I don't want these stupid advertisements.

I would have guessed the 5-cyl from the Transit, but the V6 from LR would be cool too. Though, for my money (disclosure: I have none), it would have to be priced competitively with the 2.7 EcoBoost to sell. I would prefer the I-5 from the transit, as there is just something about inline engines that give me tingles.
Ford has been spotted testing an F-150 pickup with a diesel engine tipped to be sourced from Jaguar Land Rover.

Have any other users of Outlook.com noticed this? I noticed, starting today, that the "https" was crossed out in Chrome. I looked at the reason, and it appears that it actually is using https, but in a form that isn't up to Google's standards.

Or, maybe I'm connected to an Outlook.com server that hasn't been updated to not allow weaker connections?

This has been in the works for a while, but shines even brighter in a post-Lenovo Superfish world.
For years, I've railed against the hostile attitudes that most PC makers have towards Microsoft, and in recent months I've been pushing a Clean PC agenda.

+Doc Sub , you must've been a fun date before your wife married you. "I don't think you're ugly. I don't feel repulsive hatred towards you. Do you want to have a not horrible time the rest of your life?" ;-)

Sometimes, I think that the only reason I follow Ubuntu news sites is because I like the colors orange and purple.

Just had to reset Siri on my phone. Whenever I wanted to text my wife using voice dictation, it would always find five phone numbers for her, even though there was only one phone number in her contact card. Very annoying. The reset worked. I wonder if other apps injected other numbers, and Siri wouldn't forget them after I turned off their access.

AAAAANNNNDDDDDD its November, and we are still waiting.

I can guarantee that +Google  is probably using this internally with their Goobuntu OS. Why wouldn't they?

What is taking so long? Have they finally decided to never release it? I wish there was some sort of definitive answer, because after nearly 4 years it is just ridiculous to not have an answer.
A recent Google Drive for Mac update hid some interesting gems: Hidden screenshots of the long-promised Drive for Linux.

Hmm, the beginning of a big change?

On Google.com, you used to be able to click your name to get to Google+. Now, it is just static text with no "+".

With the newest update to the OneNote Clipper extension for Chrome, I've been using OneNote a lot more than Evernote. The OneNote team finally added an "article" clipping mode that I've enjoyed in the Evernote Clipper for quite some time.

When using Evernote, I'm always sensitive about the amount of things I clip or upload to the service. I don't subscribe to Premier, so I have a limit of 60MB per month. Getting a subscription isn't much (maybe $5/month), but I've just never done it.

OneNote has no such limit, so I can clip all I want and delete later. The only thing I'm missing now in OneNote that I use in Evernote is the ease of annotating documents. I don't have a tablet with a pen, so I can't really annotate easily in OneNote.

Well, Lenovo went and stepped in it with this Superfish Adware garbage. All they had to do was continue making the best Windows PCs. Instead, the loaded a huge security risk into their machines and didn't tell anyone. This is a severe black-eye for Lenovo (I know I'm thinking twice about purchasing them in the future), but also Microsoft as well. The time is long past for Microsoft to say "No More Crapware" or "Pure Windows, or No License".

Ridiculous.

Still the MS Office thing. Plus, I actively choose Windows, just wish the manufacturers weren't so kitsch. Windows Signature PCs are nice for this reason.

Ate there just today, and it was very good. The chips and cheese dip was tasty. Also, I had a Buffalo Chicken Taco, a Southern Chicken Taco, and Mexi Tater Tots. All of it was very good and I left happy.

Don't stop here. The man behind the counter is a rude bigot. We stopped to get some water and use the toilet. He asked my wife if she was American, and when she said yes, he said, "Well, when are you going back?" No, he wasn't kidding, he was being a jerk. Probably doesn't even know that reviews on the Internet are Worldwide.

Poorly wrapped burrito, fell apart immediately, thus defeating the purpose. Looking around, it wasn't just my food either.

My wife and I went there for breakfast. She really loved her breakfast bagel, though I thought my waffles were a little dry (though tasty). Also, $3 for black coffee is steep. If we go again, I would probably get the buffet or the bagel. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere. There are big TV's in the bar, and I bet it would be fun to watch a game there.

Pete (the owner) is The Man when it comes getting your windows and sills shining! I hadn't washed my windows in years, and he was still able to get the insides and outsides looking new, very quickly. I have no qualms whatsoever recommending Bygrace Cleaning.
