Well, it's my last day of work here in the Quad Cities. This weekend, I'm packing up all the household stuff and moving to Asheville, NC. I'm sad to be leaving, but also really excited to get to live in Asheville. I fell in love with the area back in 2005 when we went there for our honeymoon, and it is crazy that I now get to call it my home!

I have a unique idea for a movie based on a novel. It involves a non-dystopian future in which the world isn't saved by a teenage girl. I don't see any movies in this space, so it could be an excellent market to enter.

This would have made my college life much easier! If Docs had had this Bibliography add-on back then, I would have used it to write all my papers.

Another reason to take frequent breaks, and walk around. I feel much better after just a 5-10 minute walk. If smokers get hourly smoke breaks, I'll take hourly walk breaks.

I wonder if Apple's new CarPlay allows for use of the car's built-in GPS antenna to get more accurate location while using Apple Maps. That would allow you to fully plug-in and hide your phone while using CarPlay, not having it connected to a distracting cradle with a charging cord hanging down.

This is the kind of functionality I've been hoping for in aftermarket, Android based stereos for quite some time. Parrott has come close, but not quite, because the touch screens are always way too small. How Apple "got there" first is mind-boggling. Espeicially with the hacker community throwing Android at everything that moves.

Kagawa brings excitement to the United game. He is used completely wrong by Moyes. The constant crosses, seemingly the only tactic used by Moyes, keeps United's most exciting and dangerous players (Kagawa, Rooney, Welbeck) out of the game. When any United player gets the ball, it seems as if he only ever has 1 pass option. Check out Bayern and PSG to see what happens when you have multiple passing routes.

This is an important, missing piece of the puzzle. I do prefer OneNote over Evernote, but the lack of a Mac client has always limited my use of it. Now (well, soon), I can continue to use OneNote on my HP laptop, and the notes will sync with my wife's Mac. All good things.

Free Mac version of OneNote on its way along with Windows desktop app http://ow.ly/2EEyL6

neat.  I also prefer this to Evernote.  I hope Windows is getting smarter about this tool.

This bear just goes off! I hope the lady was okay, because I would feel bad about how hard I laughed.

I just redeemed 100 Bing Rewards Points for 100GB of OneDrive storage for the next year. That's a pretty good deal. To put that into perspective, you can earn 1 point for every two Bing searches, up to 15 points per day. You might already have a bunch of points and not know it.

If movie trailers for Godzilla and Pacific Rim have taught us anything, it is that the Golden Gate Bridge should be avoided at all costs. It is simply too enticing to a giant monster.

Don't stop here. The man behind the counter is a rude bigot. We stopped to get some water and use the toilet. He asked my wife if she was American, and when she said yes, he said, "Well, when are you going back?" No, he wasn't kidding, he was being a jerk. Probably doesn't even know that reviews on the Internet are Worldwide.

Pete (the owner) is The Man when it comes getting your windows and sills shining! I hadn't washed my windows in years, and he was still able to get the insides and outsides looking new, very quickly. I have no qualms whatsoever recommending Bygrace Cleaning.

Poorly wrapped burrito, fell apart immediately, thus defeating the purpose. Looking around, it wasn't just my food either.

The baristas here are very friendly, and the Huntingdon High Street is a nice place to spend an afternoon.

Big cafe, but parking lot is impossible on the weekends. Park at Waitrose and walk.
