My friend and I were visiting Asheville, NC and stumbled upon this tour. It was amazing! The tour guide walked us around town, sharing the history as well as the paranormal anomalies of the area. Believer or not, this tour was entertaining to say the least, definitely recommend it when visiting!

I was really hoping to have a great experience despite all of the negative reviews. The gym offered the amenities I wanted; swimming pool, awesome group classes and it's opened 24hrs! I went to take a tour and hopefully try out their facility... And woa, customer service was horrendous. The lady giving the tour was great, but once I stepped into the "membership" office, totally different story. I was greeted with a head nod, he didn't bother standing up and I initiated a handshake as well as an introduction. He got right to business letting me know what the membership prices were, with contract. If I signed a contract that day I would pay $50 membership fee (rather than $200) but I couldn't leave the facility to think about it, not even for 2min. Otherwise, I'd have to pay the full amount. Also, I asked if I could try the gym out for the day, as you don't really know if you like the gym until you've worked out firsthand. NO. I'd have to pay 15 dollars to try it out for the day. Mind you, I ran into a couple co-workers on the way out saying they were trying the gym out "free trial" for a week, and they also received complimentary protein shakes etc. 0_0 ok, apparently I'm not "private club" material. Regardless of the multiple offenses I experienced during this conversation, I remained respectful and curteous. I'm completely dumbfounded and appalled by the lack of respect I was given, and without reason.
