Windows vs Mac: Security Edition blog post
I promised a post regarding security on Mac. Let's get it out of the way now! Mac users have traditionally championed the fact that there were basically no viruses or other malware for Macs. I remembe...

Security tips for your home computers! From my blog.
Being in the IT industry, especially in security, you get asked for help cleaning infected computers. This is rather problematic as there are many different variants of all the many malware out there....

My blog post about Administrator account- good to read as a computer user or system administrator!
One of the things that drives me crazy in the IT world is the sharing and use of the administrator account. This is also a mistake people make on their home computers. System Administrators, however, ...

Sunday at 11 was a very busy time of day, but the wait wasn't unreasonable. Our server was pleasant and efficient. After sitting down, I was given a visibly dirty menu, and a quick glance showed me the rest of my party's menus were just as dirty. I know menus aren't sanitary, but I think wiping food smudges off isn't an unreasonable expectation. After ordering, I went to the restroom to wash my hands. The restroom was awful. Just disgusting. My chorizo hash arrived in a cast iron skillet- room temperature- the eggs were cold and the hash was just warm. The chorizo was dry and fairly bland, but the cheese and peppers helped the flavor. It was a large portion and priced similarly. It was good, but not great. My party really liked what they got (chicken Benedict). The floors in the restaurant were pretty dirty, and I found it odd that they sent a guy out to sweep in the parking lot when their floors needed attention. The poor cleanliness really detracted from a meal that had potential. I might try it again, at a different location.

Slow service, small sandwiches. Cheese fries were good. Rueben was not on rye, had fry sauce rather than thousand island, meat was average, but it did have decent sauerkraut. We didn't have ice cream (Russell's)

For the food, I would go 3 stars. I added a fourth star for friendly service and cleanliness. Good chips and salsa, good rice and beans, ok enchiladas, ok rellenos (good fresh peppers though), bad tacos. Apparently they have only one fryer, and they use it for seafood dishes. End result is a beef taco that tastes like fish.

Nothing amazing in the accommodations, but the front desk staff was very friendly and the beds were clean.
