Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
My work day begins at 7:00am. Yawn.  That means that I drag myself out of bed in the early hours of the morning-- and I'm not much of a morning person.  I don't wake up grumpy, but I'm not very talkative until I've showered, dressed, styled my hair and pu...

I love cauliflower.  I created my own cream of soup recipe (i just don't buy canned soups) so I could easily make this. It might be a little indulgent with the cheese and soup, but as long as I don't go for seconds, I'd love this. Looks fabulous.
I know if you are watching your carbs like I am you are probably seeing lots and lots of cauliflower recipes. Luckily for me, I love cauliflower. I can eat it in any way, shape or form, but covered in a delicious cheesy sauce...

Thanks Deb. Yeah I ditched the canned soup. I ditched a lot of stuff in the past year, lol. I could have eaten half of this, but I didn't - dammit! LOL!

This looks both healthy and delicious.  I've been craving carrot bread. Snow for spring?  Our gusty winds have arrived in my corner of California, though. Brrrrrrrr.
It's snowing here in Rhode Island as I type this. Snow on the first day of Spring. I was up with the chickens and I have to say, for someone like me that loves the white stuff, it made me smile first thing this morning. Becau...

Author of the Food Blog "A Feast for the Eyes"
Introduction
Debby "Foodiewife", author of "A Feast for the Eyes" Food blog. Hi, from Monterey, California. I'm a home cook who strives to learn how to make all things from scratch-- while balancing my busy life as a working wife and mom. I try to buy (and grow) the freshest ingredients possible. My culinary skills are an ever-evolving process of trial and error. I love to cook and bake, equally. Many of my recipes are influenced from my mother's Southern German background, and my dad's Mexican heritage. I have a list of things new recipes and dishes I still want to learn how to make. I enjoy sharing my self-taught lessons with a photo tutorial. I'm a self-taught and aspiring photographer. My food blog is my perfect venue to share recipes and I hope to you inspire you with my food photos.

I've been coming here for 3 years, and I think that you get your bang for the buck. I get the $30.00 combo that includes a "clothes on" massage of the face, head, neck, feet and legs. Then, I get 20 minutes of being on a private massage table for a back massage. I have a favorite massage therapist, but I'm reluctant to give out the name-- for fear she'll get so popular she'll be too booked! The therapists speak minimal English and don't talk at all, which is exactly as I like it. Seeing that a spa will charge $90-$110 per massage, you can't beat this. It's not as fancy as a spa, but it's clean, and that's what matters to me.
