My sister and I took our dad here for Father's Day (yesterday). The staff was very friendly as soon as we entered the restaurant. We had a waitress name Palain that was very attentive to us. We all ordered the 1/2 of Chicken and Baby Back Ribs, which was so darn good! The Mac & Cheese had creamy white sauce inside the noodles. Never had it before but, it was the bomb and my family was raised on soul food! It took us an hour to get there from where I live but it was sooo worth it!!

I had a Goupon and decided to try this restaurant out today 6/21/14. Though the food was tasty, the service and management sucked, The waitress' answer to my questions about the menu was 'I don't know" and then she got my order wrong and after bringing it to her attention she disagreed by saying "Its what I have written down"... I asked for the manager and he then stated that there would be an extra charge to correct my order, followed by "you used a Groupon anyway, so the meal was free". After being insulted and receiving my bill which included automatic gratuity of $13.00 I felt cheated and insulted. I see why this restaurant has very little business, and although I have another Groupon for this restaurant I will more than likely never use it due to the poor customer service, poor management and of course manager's insulting comments about using a Groupon

Had dinner there this past Friday. Both my date and I had the chopped pork platter. After a twenty minute wait the meal was served at room temperature. The waitress blamed the delayed on a shortage of cooks in the kitchen. From what I saw of additional guests, 2 cooks would have been 1 too many. Maybe they were preparing for the Memorial Day rush? The waitress got a 10% tip which she didn't deserve and Georgia Rib will not get any more of my money.

I understand that people who leave reviews for restaurants are either really happy or really mad, but it's hard for me to believe all of the negative stuff being written about this place. My wife just took me there for Father's Day; we had the brunch and it was amazing. I didn't get to try everything that there was because I ran out of room, but everything that I tried was delicious. The place was clean and everything looked brand new. Our waitress Star was very attentive and took care of all of our needs. I definitely recommend this place!

After browsing the website for this restaurant I purchased a Groupon for The Georgia Rib Company, $ 15 for $ 30 off a dinner for two. With a hearty appetite my boyfriend and I drove the 40 minutes to the location. Upon arrival we immediately questioned if we had entered the right address for our GPS since at 1 pm on a Sunday afternoon the restaurant parking lot had only three cars in it and the building looked abandoned with weeds overgrown in the parking lot and entrance with only a banner hanging above the door to the restaurant. Skeptical, we got out of the car and walked in expecting the pleasant aroma of ribs and barbecue to fill the air yet what we actually smelled was a dank, musty odor. The lobby area was lined with photos and a hostess station stood to our left in the otherwise empty area. A sign said Please Be Seated but the problem was that from where we stood, next to the hostess station, you couldn't even see any tables and chairs as you would expect for a restaurant. Doors to our left were closed and double doors to our right were open but a banner hung above that door said something other than The Georgia Rib Company, although I can't recall exactly what it said. Off in the distance we could hear laughter and joking around among what I can only assume, well, actually, I can't assume anything. I have no idea who they were but my impression was that they were not diners of this establishment. We poked around a little to see if we could see the restaurant but finally decided that there had been too many red flags for us to patronize this restaurant so we left. While eating some good barbecue at Dreamland Barbecue in Alpharetta, I read reviews about the restaurant and was surprised to see some that endorsed the restaurant but also found plenty that suggest this is not a restaurant that diners should patronize. From the reviews it seems that the restaurant is located at a former roller rink/bowling alley and that does make sense. Perhaps we did not venture far enough in to the halls of the building but if a restaurant is that difficult to find you would think that when the door buzzer sounded upon entry a hostess would greet you and lead you to the restaurant or, at minimum, there should be helpful signs pointing patrons to the proper area. This is my first review and I really felt an obligation to let unsuspecting people know of our experience to save them the disappointment of this restaurant. Fortunately Groupon refunded me the money I spent which I can apply to future purchases.

Lousy management plain and simple. Rude, incompetent and argumentative. Won't stand behind their promotional engagements (ie. coupons). Food is now sub-par and way overpriced. Their menu items are now up over 30% in the last 2 years. Forget them!

Big Thumbs Down!! Nice Huge venue with little customers and I see why! Nice waitstaff but the food was subpar. Buyer beware. $40 worth of food in the garbage.

I have never been more insulted by a restaurant in my life. I feel really bad for the waitstaff, as apparently the members of management (and owner) of this location are completely unwilling to engage in any form of customer service. There was an issue with our meal we wanted to talk to a member of management about. Not only did the owner/manager refuse to see us, they sent the poor waitress back out to talk to us. I felt absolutely terrible for her, and she obviously felt completely embarrassed. This restaurant is listed all over the internet with deals and offers. However, there are well-hidden signs around the restaurant saying that they no longer accept deals from any of those websites. Apparently this has been going on for a long time, as complaints about this policy have been in reviews about Georgia Rib Company as far back as March 2013. How incredibly shady.
