I remember staying here for a week, all expenses paid by the company I worked for... so I can train someone who just came on board to work in my position. This hotel was probably not even 10 miles away from the office building, so I was able to take the complimentary shuttle each time. I didn't need to rent a car during my entire stay. The shuttle even brought me to Wal-Mart at night when I forgot to pack some toiletries (and my hair brush!) Everything about the room was pristinely clean. I enjoyed my stay there. The only downside is... I'm used to La Quinta's complimentary breakfast. Here, you always have to order room service or buy food at their cafe area downstairs. No complaints I guess. Yeah... no need for transportation when going to the airport. This hotel was ATTACHED to the airport. When it was ready for me to leave, I just up and left. :) Easy peasy. :)

I had a flight delay that forced me to stay in Pittsburgh on Aug 26th. After scouting for hotel options, settled for Hyatt as it offered a walking solution to terminal in the morning. (other hotels would mean taxi in the early morning). The hotel was simply great. Front desk staff were very helpful. I had the best experience in the restaurant. I was running a severe headache. The host in the restaurant was very kind and brought the dinner quickly. It tasted great and so were her kind words. My headache got relieved without taking any advil. Morning check out was smooth. I would recommend this hotel anyday for the overall customer centricity.

I Pricelined the room for $50 a night that's the only reason I stayed here and still got somewhat of a deal for my money. Absolutely crazy that they make you park in long term parking in the hotel section that cost $13 a day and internet at hotel is $10 a day which is complete bullshit. Would never stay here if I didn't Priceline room for what I did.

Wedding servers were professional, and good looking, food was outstanding. Only difficult item was parking, made a wrong term into a long term lot, but that was rectified simply by going to the exit and the attendant saw that I was only in the lot for 4 minutes, so I went through and then finally found the correct lot for the Regency ballroom. The Mediterranean Chicken was outstanding, never had tried it before, and the rice dish was excellent too.

Good day Chip, thank you very much for your detailed review and 5 star rating. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the service and food at the wedding, and that you were able to negotiate your way to parking in the airport lot. We appreciate your comments and hope to see you again in the future. Chris Palid – Director of Rooms Christopher.Palid@hyatt.com

I figured that staying here would include free parking, as we were going to San Francisco for 10 days. Instead, they told me it would be $25 a day! So, I ended up moving my car (in the rain) about 200 yards to the airport's long-term parking for $8 a day. For the price, nothing really stood out about this place. Next time, we will just stay further away at a place with free parking and an airport shuttle.

I had set up direct billing to our company for a guest who was not to be charged on his personal account for his stay. Even though I received a guarantee of payment arrangements in the confirmation email and a verbal confirmation of the payment arrangement the day of check-in, our guest was charged on his personal account for this stay. Advice to business owners bringing in guests: DO NOT USE THE HYATT!

Hotel Parking is part of the overpriced airport parking, very confusing to get into, sink was clogged in my room. I wasn't impressed.

The room was over-priced, and even the basics that a $40 hotel/motel will offer like wi-fi and a meager continental breakfast were not offered. Internet was $10/day, and none of the parking was free, so every time you left and came back it was $8 - which adds up quickly. The "newly renovated" "soundproof" rooms were not soundproof, and had a 1/2 inch gap all around. Calls to the surrounding rooms woke my wife up twice at 6 and 7 am, on the one rare occasion when we had the opportunity to sleep in until 7:30 or 8. The bathroom sink was in with the toilet and shower, greatly limiting how many people can get ready simultaneously; the bathroom sink's faucet was about 1 inch out from the back of the sink, meaning you had to wipe your hand all over the back of the sink to wash your hands. The "elegant buffet" is a joke, serving white bread with deli meats and charging $12/plate, not letting you see said buffet until after having been seated, and having the arrogance to claim these are delicacies! The staff was kind enough to loan us a wine cooler to use as a make-shift refrigerator so that we could eat our own food at 1/10th the cost. The room was only convenient because we were attending a conference at the Hyatt, and I can confidently say I'll never stay here again. Also, mysteriously $50 in "charges" appeared on my account (maybe we opened a bottle of water ($4.50)) or used the tiny "decorative" comforter as an actual comforter. And trying to ask them about said charges? Good luck!

Good day Justin West, We appreciate your feedback and I assure you we have made several improvements to the property and restaurant since your visit in April of 2011. The lunch buffet is not a standard offering; however we implemented it for your conference in particular due to the large number of attendees and the very limited break time that was given to you for meals. I do hope that your billing issues have been cleared up since your review, the credit card authorizes for $50 per day for any personal charges, but this authorization is released as soon as you check out, and should reflect on your bank statement within 3-5 business days. If there is anything else that you need please feel free to contact me directly at the hotel. Thank you. Chris Palid – Director of Rooms Christopher.Palid@hyatt.com
