Shopping today? Cut Down on Unnecessary Purchases by Asking Yourself is for the life I have right now? RT @AptTherapy http://ow.ly/MvjE6
If you've ever cleaned out your closet, you may know the guilt and shame of finding some past purchase hanging there, accusingly, tags still on. Or maybe there's something that you've only worn once, or used once, and then you decided it wasn't quite right, but you've never been able to get rid of it because you paid good money for it and what would your mother say? I've been there, plenty of times, and after making lots of mistakes and spending ...

The Lazy Person's Guide to a Happy Home #6 Have Less #Stuff! RT @AptTherapy http://ow.ly/MvyAI
I'm always a little ashamed to admit this, but I hate to clean. I really hate it. I mean, there are so many more interesting things I could be doing. And the annoying thing is that when you clean something, it just gets dirty all over again. Cleaning is a horrible, boring, thankless task, but you know what's worse than cleaning? Stressing out all the time because your house is filthy. What's a lazy woman to do?

Buy Happiness! It's An Experience, Not #Stuff. RT @NPR http://ow.ly/MvzpI
Experiences tend to make people happier than material possessions, research shows. And looking forward to an experience like a concert can feel much better than awaiting the latest smartphone release.

The Lazy Person's Guide to a Happy Home - Break it up into little bits! RT @AptTherapy http://ow.ly/MvyZ2
Earlier this year I wrote the Lazy Person's Guide to a Happy Home, full of cleaning tips for people who hate cleaning. Many of you read it, and commented, and added cleaning tips of your own, and your ideas were so good that I couldn't help re-sharing them. Read on for cleaning tips from some very wise people, aka: you.

How a #ProfessionalOrganizer Helped @TheEditorialite Get Past Overwhelmed #Clutter Paralysis RT @POPSUGAR Home http://ow.ly/MHOXF
I always envisioned nesting as that final stage of pregnancy when the expectant mother camps out in the nursery, cleaning with OCD fervor and meticulously folding onesies across the surface of her swollen belly. This is not what happened to me. I

I have three small boys who share a room. Between toys, clothing, & furniture, I was overwhelmed with how to make the best use of space so they wouldn't feel cramped. Adriel helped me consider things I hadn't thought of, such as keeping things at eye level for them and using materials that would be "indestructible." This allows for it to be, not only easy for me to clean up, but for them as well (Yay!) They now enjoy a comfortable, happy space! Thank you Adriel!!
