As a former Employer From Johnny Cascones. I don't recommend this place for you. the kitchen is infested with bugs. Waiters are lazy. But I do recommend the cascones down at north Kansas. My prediction for this restaurant is that it will be shut down. I recommend olive garden. True Fact.

After arriving with my 17 month old daughter informed the host that I was there to meet a group of dog trainers. He had no idea what I was talking about but the hostess next to him did and I was promptly led back to my table. After ordering Sangria for myself and water with a lid for my daughter it took LONGER to get my child's water than my mixed drink. Next I ordered the Anti Pasta Platter to share with the table. Because one of our group was a vegetarian I asked the server to plate the meats separately. I'm not sure whether he didn't understand what I was asking or simply didn't want to oblige my request but I repeated myself several times until he finally said okay. The plates came out as requested. After waiting for the rest of our group to arrive we gave our orders just before seven. Unfortunately the meals were not served until close to an hour later. It took so long that our honorary guest actually had to leave before her meal was served. She had it boxed to take home Instead. My husband was less than impressed with his $18 chicken Parmesan (which he orders at EVERY Italian restaurant) stating that the sauce tasted worse than Ragu! He didn't even eat though we had it boxed to go when it arrived because by that time our child was approaching meltdown stage. I had ordered the Tomato and Mozzarella Salad which looked absolutely delicious upon arrival. Unfortunately I literally had to spit my first bite out mid chew. The tomatoes looked good but tasted rotten. I tried another bite just be sure and the taste worsened. I explained to the waiter that the tomatoes were off and he proceeded to argue that it was the combination of flavors of the plates. This can't be true because there was tomatoes and mozzarella on the appetizer I'd ordered which had tasted delicious. I finally had to firmly tell him that I knew what rotten tomatoes tasted like and these were bad and sent the plate away. To top it of the restroom had no changing table and I had to change my daughter standing on the sticky floor. The soap dispenser looked like it had grime oozing out of the bottom. I was thoroughly disgusted at the thought of my child being in such an unsanitary place. What a waste of $36 dollars!

My date and I were seated at a table after only waiting a few minutes. After 5 minutes seated at the table, a woman came to the table and introduced herself as our waitress, and said that he would be back in just a minute to take our drink orders. After waiting another 5 minutes and seeing her helping several other tables we started to get frustrated. I was able to get her attention and told her we would like to place at least our drink orders. She rolled her eyes and unwillingly wrote down our simple order of 2 waters. (Yes, we sat at the table for 10 before we had a chance to ask for water.) About 7 minutes later she walked by, put the glasses of water on our table, and then kept walking to another table to check on them. We immediately stood up and started to leave, at which point she shout at us as to why we were leaving. We told the manager and hostess at the front door how displeased we were and the manager took a phone call instead of replying and the hostess only replied with "whatever."

I love going to Cascone's because it always feels like I'm home - my family has been going there for more than 30 years. Fabulous food, fabulous people. I have so many favorites, I go at least four times a month and they have the BEST lemon cake in the world!

While the live music was nice, the service could have been better and the food tasted like it was drenched in Velveeta cheese. It's hard to mess up Italian but they definitely found a way to do it. I will not be wasting my money here again.

I was supremely disappointed by this place. I had high hopes with how many recommendations this place had from friends and family. Perhaps they left their taste buds at home because this was awful. I would have much rather gone to Fazolis than this sorry excuse of italian. First the place is dark, dank, dirty and smells of old carpet. The hostess wasn't welcoming and made it seem as if we were inconveniencing her. Our server was snarky, and slow. I had ordered the chicken spiedini and my wife had the Ravioli. The bread they brought out was dry, tough and bland, the dipping oil, mercifully, was quite good. Our salads were soggy and were drowning in a soupy 'house dressing." When our entrees came out they gave me my wife's entree and her mine. After having to switch the plates around since our server vanished before we could say anything, I cut into my chicken, or at least what I thought was supposed to chicken. Instead what I had in front of me was a log of bread with some thin strip of what appeared to be chicken like meat inside. There was absolutely no sauce on the plate for the over cooked pasta or mystery meat bread log to add to the bland flavor. Adding salt helped some, but it was so lacking any kind of character or flavor it only ended up tasting like salted pasta with bread. My wife's ravioli was also a complete failure. The red sauce tasted like canned tomato sauce with some bits of dried seasoning only to add some color. Again there was no flavor and was so acidic I have used it in a car battery. I didn't bother trying the ravioli's as the looked like mummified pharaoh testicles. Needless to say, despite that we used a gift card and our dinner was free, I felt like I should have been paid by them to eat what ever it is they to pass off as food. Avoid this place and go down the road to Carrabba's.

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary. This was our second time eating here after loving the food and service we had received the first time. Our second time eating here was nothing comparable to the first time we ate here. We were seated towards the center of the restaurant right next to where they kept their roll of disposable paper table cloths. Throughout our meal we had bussers making lots of noise behind us ripping paper and so forth. What made our experience worse was the bussers placing dirty dishes and water pitchers on the ledges touching our table. My husband had half eaten plates of food placed right next to his elbow. During our meal, a couple sitting near us had told a busser that it was very rude of them to be placing dirty dishes right next to us only to be ignored by the busser. While the food was decent, I will be paying up for better service for my next anniversary. I think I've received better service at Olive Garden!
