Nice rooms. Double queen was spacious. Toilet balky. Little choice, but eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy provided for guests in the restaurant. Tables not wiped in restaurant, (at 6 a.m.), sticky floor in restaurant, all 3 days. Surly help at check in at 1 in the morning. Refused to believe our organization qualified for government rates even though that was what management quoted us. I am sorry but school district employees are government. Government pays us, government reimburses us for conferences like this, and we are in state retirement system. Wasn't the difference in rate, I paid it. It was the attitude.

Pretty decent place for the money. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

I have stayed here multiple times because Lander's hotel offerings are poor (a Holiday Inn Express will be opening in December). They used to offer breakfast here, but now you have to pay for breakfast at there restaurant which has terrible service! The last time I went, I never even got waited on and had to leave without breakfast. This time I called to make sure they had a fitness center. They said they did. When I went to inspect the fitness center upon check in, it is totally useless. The machines don't work. Did I mention that I tried to check in early, and they told me that I couldn't check in early, and in fact, I need to check in late because their staff was behind today. Now, all of this could be marginally acceptable if it weren't for the fact that I stay in hotels all over Wyoming, and this one is more expensive, doesn't include breafkast, still has the old non-white weird bed spreads, AND has no usable fitness center. I hate this place. I hope I never have to stay again! If Holiday Inn Express isn't opened the next time I stay in Lander, I'm bringing my trailer.

I give this hotel five stars simply for the wonderful people who work here and their impeccable customer service! On our way to Yellowstone, my husband and I hit a deer in the middle of the night, which banged up our car pretty badly. We thought our vacation was over when we were forced to turn around and spend the night in Lander (thinking the worst--that we would have to wait until morning and get a tow 5+ hours back to Denver.) We ended up spending the night at the Inn at Lander after finding out almost all of the hotels in town were booked up. When we arrived, the front desk attendant was courteous and sympathetic to our situation, and even gave us a break on our room rate. In the morning, the front desk attendant even personally called around to several auto shops for us, until she found someone who could help us. The shop we ended up at (Rodney's Collision and Custom) took us in, treated us like royalty, and after assessing the damage, assured us that with a new battery and turn signal, we could still salvage our vacation. The people in this town really know a thing or two about human decency--so refreshing!

The shower was awesome for a hotel.

Looks can be deceiving! Definitely the case for this hotel. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were flat and the "exercise room" was a joke. There was 1 cheap treadmill, 1 bike and 2 other things and then they had 2 arm weight machines. The first night we were there we asked for extra pillows be cause they were so flat and they 'did not' have any. We're not convinced that they just didn't want to get them for us. The mattresses for the hotel were hard and uncomfortable. The a/c in the rooms didn't hardly cool down the room because they blow directly into the curtains. I think the only saving grace was the outdoor pool for our children. I would pay more money and stay at a hotel down the road then come back here. We enjoyed our time in Lander outside of the hotel.
