I took these photographs a little after sunset to test the low light capabilities of the Canon 5D3. The first was taken used ISO 400, while the second used ISO 800, using a monopod for support. If I do some pixel peeping, I can see some noise, but it's not really noticeable at a normal viewing distance.

These are both shots that I could have never pulled off with my older cameras (a 20D and a D60) -- at least, not with anything approaching the same level of quality.

Edit: I've added a third picture to this album which is taken at ISO 3200, at the same place where I took the first pictures with the 5D3 which I posted earlier today. Unfortunately the album description and description in G+ do not update when a new photo is uploaded to the photo.
