It should be possible these days to find out the "who, what, when, and where" of a photo using the magic of the Internet and social networking. Right?
I have managed to find out who has the original hardcopy of this very photo, but there was nothing on it to identify it, though it was purchased from Pauline's Antiques in Alameda, California.
I have an idea who the little girl might be (as does my older sister), but would love to be able to find out when and where it was shot ... prolly a northern California department store in the late 40s. There's an obvious identifying number, but my Google searches haven't turned up anything in connection with this.
Any thoughts on this, besides the usual "OMG that Easter Bunny is creepy-as-fck and that child is clearly in shock!" ?
