With eleven (and counting!) reviewers and blogs stepping up to help me talk about myself, my novels, and SPORE's upcoming release, I have decided to have my very own Blog Tour. There will be interviews, free books, even at least one video of me blabbering about whatever the interviewer decides to ask me. I've agreed to answer anything. Yes. Anything. Maybe I'll even give away a quilt, who knows? But it's going to be crazy busy around here from about Memorial Day (May 25th) until Mid June, and I'm going to need a little help from my fans and friends.

See, I need a catchy name for this Blog Tour. That's where you come in. I'm running a contest for a Blog Tour name that suits me, my books, and whatever else y'all think would fit. I'm totally open for serious, goofy, catchy, clever, nuanced, or downright strange. Bill, Laura, and I will pick the one we like the best (I'm not ruling out a run off if more than one floats to the top) and the winner will receive a FREE eCopy of SPORE. Let's keep this open for two weeks, so I'll close entries on Sunday March 15, and have a winner chosen before I leave for HorrorHound on March 19th.

How does that sound?

The contest will run on my blog, Facebook, Twitter, G+, and Goodreads, and you can enter as many times as you have kick-ass names. I'll collect all of the entries, have a sit down and sort through them with my family, and we'll choose a winner!

Good luck and #GoSpore!

I've updated my G+ page to reflect SPORE. Any comments?

I'm participating in the A to Z April blog challenge and A is for ART! Find out what I think of a modern master (my opinion might be surprising to some).

Today's blogpost is about a place I've been to.

I've been posting on my blog every day so far this week as part of the 30 Day's About Me Blog Challenge. You can see my whole list (with links) at

Made two batches of 'chip' cookies yesterday. Two different kinds of saltine toffee so far today. Still have Snickerdoodles, Chocolate Cookies, and Popcorn Cookies yet to come, then - in theory - my Christmas baking is DONE.

In writerly news, M received another super-nice declination, but it's still at several publishers.

I've been working on a particular scene near the first pivot point in Stain, and part of me wants to share it, part of me worries that since I do intend to publish this book, whether traditionally or indi, that to release more than the opening is inappropriate and unwarranted.

But it is a fun little scene. ;)
