Mexican bites & potent margaritas flavor this hip, modern cantina with pink walls & a karaoke room.- Google
"Standard food, small portions with jumbo prices."
"They even had rabbit and pork belly on the menu which were both yummy."

Used to love this place, but looks like the menu has changed and is very limited now. Still a good place, but not great any more. Ambiance and decor are awesome.

As soon as I landed and got off the plane, my friend took me straight here. We were craving tacos and this is the first place he thought of. And man am I so glad he brought me here. It's a cute taco truck and they are very busy. We saw a line of people waiting for their food to come out. It's super cheap and their tacos are amazing. We ordered our food and it didn't take long for it to come out. It's kinda hard to find a parking spot- street parking anywhere you can find- because it is LA. They are only opened late at night until 2am. AWESOME! We got it to-go and brought it back home. Smelled delicious in the car. We went home and it was just a burst in the mouth. It was on point and the hot sauce they give you is a must on your tacos or whatever you decide to get. Definitely authentic mexican street food. Distrito is best.

The wait staff are very friendly. Don't get the enchiladas. Get the huaraches - so good!

We booked the back room for a karaoke event with our program/department. This is a very special, treasure annual event for us and we decided to try a new venue to continue to improved it. Several things went wrong and were unprofessional causing our annual event to be disastrous. I will never have an event or eat at this restaurant ever again and tell all of my friends and other departments and programs so that they know how bad the experience is here. First of all, when we arrived, it seemed like the staff did not even know about our event. And they were not set up or prepared whatsoever. We requested the high top tables with no chairs in the room, which we were told would not be a problem, so that people could mingle but when we arrived the whole space was filled with a large table and chairs with no space to move. We had to spend the first half hour moving furniture during the even which was so embarrassing. Then, we ate and the drinks are overpriced but that can be understandable at least. We planned this as a karaoke event and communicated that effectively to the event manager but when we got there the karaoke was not on, hooked up, and no one knew how to use it. They had to search for someone to help us hook it up. And, before the event, we asked about the song selection etc. imagine our surprise when we found that there are only a few tens of songs on the machine, many of which are duplicates (there were 5 versions is sk8ter boy and 5 versions of stitches... What the heck?!). We made the most of it but honestly our event was ruined. Everyone was so disappointed. And we want to spread the word that the experience was way below sub par. None of our requests were carried out and none of our wishes were respected. And, at the end of the day, not even close to being worth $800 for a bad experience. So, in summary, poor communication, subpar space, overpriced drink, and the worst karaoke I have ever experienced. Whatever you do, do not book an event here. Ever.

Good service. Varied selection of dishes. Huge portions on some items. Vegetarian options. Nice selection of appetizers. My son liked the mango drink and the churros. Margaritas not as good as I was expecting.

Pricy for the amount of food the one receives, but the quality is amazing. I would suggest going here for a nice night out. They also have a fair happy hour and 2 dollar Tuesdays

My experience for a first timer started out pretty decent, we sat in a nice section but when our server Roman came over it was down hill. He was so slow, to get our initial drinks took about 25 minutes . He took a very long time to check on us and take our order. He couldn't get our orders straight. A couple friends and I went for my birthday. This bar only sells tequila and I asked for a Patron shot. Roman comes back and says they don't have patron and suggest this other tequila like patron. When I get the bill the shot was 20 dollars!!! Patron shots are never 20 dollars! On top of that it was a double shot. Why wouldn't you tell someone you're going to charge them such a high price for low quirky tequila. He refused to split the bill and suggested that we all just circle what we got and put our Initials next to what we ordered. That was such an inconvenience to us all! Have to stay 20 minutes after the fact to try to go over everything between six people including tax is ridiculous. He kept coming over every 5 minutes and asking if we were done with basically what felt like homework.Worst experience I ever had, service was terrible. Worse birthday experiences ever! I wanted to go somewhere where my friend and I could all meet up and I would never suggest this restaurant to anyone I know. The poor service really ruined the whole experience. If you ever get Roman beware because he tries to pull fast ones and over charge. We STILL had the decency to leave a suffient tip.

This place is a lot of fun. Great for groups. Good tacos, good nachos. Decent margarita.
