This is a tax on things people can't control. Home prices and job availability- things that only really affect the working class. Nobody CHOOSES to have a long commute! Taxing workers for working. What sort of bullshit is that? Why am I not surprised to hear libertarians are backing it?

And listen to the liberals greenwashing about the environment. Yet another instance of spineless politicians dumping responsibility for environmental problems on the least powerful people in society, because they are to afraid to fight the powerful people actually doing the damage.

All this in order to pay for something that we already have the money for, but instead choose to throw it into the military industrial graft pit.

I am not even going to start about the privacy issues!

This is so painfully American. Politicians talking to themselves about what's best for people they know nothing about based on some ideology and then coming up with excuses for making it law. The only thing we're missing is some blowhard republican blaming Obama!

Anyone else think your bank shouldn't be able to decide who YOU can do business with using YOUR money?

The kind of yellow journalism that needs to be debunked like this is really harmful to society. It promotes public ignorance and belief in pseudoscience and makes it nearly impossible to tell bullshit from reality in the news.

Science!
This is very creative.  They use the fact that varying ratios of ethanol to water have different densities allowing for an approximation of alcohol content in a drink to be made using this device.
I think this would be less accurate on drinks that contain other substances than ethanol and water.  It may still be accurate enough however.

+Google+ , many people seem to be saying these things. I have made this point since the first time I used the g+ app on android. I add people who have interesting things to say, the pictures are the least important thing to me. IIRC, +Vic Gundotra said something to the effect of, Google+ is not something with one purpose or intention, its there to be what people need it to be. So why make everyone use the same UI geared solely towards picture sharing? Please allow the +Google+ GUI to be as flexible and adaptable as the service itself instead of making a monolithic, one-size-fits-all minimalist interface with no options.
I'm also submitting this (with notes from my past posts) to Google+ feedback.
