Had our wedding in Blackrock castle a few weeks ago. It really was the best day ever. If you are a bride-to-be looking for a different location for your wedding, i cannot recommend Blackrock castle enough. Ria and Dee really looked after me and my husband in the build up and on the day itself. The room we booked in the castle was decorated beautifully. All my guests said to me on the day and keep saying that Blackrock Castle is the best wedding venue they have ever been to. I am delighted we picked Blackrock Castle. It was an unforgetable day and the photos we got on the day are amazing. Thank you again to all at Blackrock Castle :-)

It is a beautiful castle but you dont get to see much of the castle. The part your alloed see is several rooms with computors with lots and lots of info. Best for 12 year olds who cn get something out of it and use it correctly. The view from the top of the castle s lovely but only available on a tour.Restaurant is nice but only serves dinners not really a cafe. All in all, the view from outside the castle was very pretty. But the rest is not worthh a fuss. If you have smller kids, there is only 2 items for them and the magnetic board is so high I had to lift my 3 year old to ply ith it. My 9 and 7 yer old, had fun sending a message into space. But thats it. 16 euro could have bought them more fun at monkey maze.

Cosmos At The Castle is a very well made interactive exhibition about space, creation of live (and everything else ;)). Don't await too much, if you always have some knowledge on these topics, because the contents clearly aims at younger people... but the presentation is well done though.
