You can't tell a guy to leave just because he doesn't like what's going on?!? What an absolutely horrible person to say that!

These academic wankers did a few things: misrepresented you, which is also known as The tort of passing off. That's actionable under the law - you can sue them.

Maritime law is not law its commerce ... he can't do nothing apart from grow-up and face it with a big laugh like any intellectually mature person will do.

I'm looking forward to getting into DrawingLayer code :-)
At the LibreOffice Conference 2014, I had three presentations. The first one was about DrawingLayer, one of the core technologies in LibreOffice that is not known enough, which consequently leads to people not using it, or be...

How interesting that Wakefield rails against unethical human experimentation. Yet that is precisely what he did!

Don't you people card that he did this on the behest of a bunch of unethical lawyers? Don't you care that he had a patent out on his own vaccine? Don't you care about the outbreaks of measles caused by his faulty research, now thoroughly and transparently discredited? Or don't you care that he falsified results?

You people are pathetic.

It doesn't have a name. Doc Mike even linked a convenient version of the patent with the important bits highlighted. Why would you read that patent about the vaccine and then think the vaccine doesn't exist just because it doesn't have a name?

That patent is dated at around the same time as he would have been conducting the research that was designed to make the MMR vaccine seem unsafe.  Wakefield was paid obscene amounts by a lawyer to investigate MMR with a plan to start a class action against the manufacturers. He knew the outcome of the research before he started it. http://briandeer.com/mmr/lancet-summary.htm

How can you see all this unethical behaviour (including being paid from the UK Legal Aid Fund which is designed to help poor people) and conflicts of interest and still think that his research is sound?
