The UW Health Pediatric Fitness Clinic is home to the Fructose Intervention in Teens, or F.I.T., Study. The purpose of the research is to compare the effects that a normal, healthy diet and a healthy diet that is low in fructose will have on the liver.

You may see a lot of stories about concussions and football players, but did you know kids who don't play sports can get concussions too?
This concussion blog is NOT about football (at least for the most part). Former Badger football standout Chris Borland announced that he was calling it quits after 1 year in the NFL with the San Francisco 49’s.  His main concern: concussions and their long term health risks.  Repeated concuss

American Family Insurance Children's Hospital provides children with an atmosphere that is different than the average hospital. There are activities and themed rooms where children can play, watch movies, explore and just be kids.

God bless this hospital and its entire staff. If you are a parent, you know the fear of having a sick child hospitalized. It takes a lot to feel comfort in such situations. But the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, kitchen staff, clerical, volunteers, everyone there goes out if their way to bring comfort to both patient and child. They allowed both my husband and me to sleep in the room with our child during the entire week long stay. They included us in the decisions with every step of treatment. We were treated with respect, compassion and most importantly good care. I feel they saved our Childs life and for that we will always be eternally grateful!

We have been here several times with both of our children to see specialists in two different departments: ENT and Urology. Our family has nothing but good things to say about the providers, the facility and the services provided at American Family Children's Hospital.
