Vintage Fashion & Haberdashery- Elegant and Nostalgic lifestyle choices
Introduction
Lesley’s Girls Vintage and Upcycled are Janine and Susannah, two sisters on a mission to revive timeless style by reviving and renovating vintage clothes and lifestyle items.

We also celebrate the elegance of yesteryears clothes with a range of handmade repro and up-cycled clothes and accessories (we ALWAYS make it clear if they are original vintage or one of our own creations).

We want to make vintage wearable, usable, easy and affordable. We want you to love the romance and beauty of the pieces but want to use and wear them too. Our stock is always changing so keep looking at our Etsy shop for new additions.

Janine: "I love vintage and have always wished we lived 100 years ago so I could wear the beautiful, elegant fashions... in recent years I have realised the 21st century is probably better (the internet and central heating to name but two good reasons why!) but there is nothing to stop me wearing the classic styles, and I love the idea of passing this opportunity to others through our shop. I am also a history graduate, a love of which I was brought up with, and love the fact that vinatge clothes aren't just pretty but they tell you a bit about the social history of the era."

Susannah: "I have been sewing since I was 8 years old, creating clothes for my dolls with scraps of fabric given to me my our mother, Lesley. I love reviving neglected vintage clothes sympathetically where a new stitch or two is needed to make them wearable again. Where vintage clothes are beyond repair I love the challenge of creatively re-inventing them to make them loved again... up-cycling is the modern make do and mend."
