The staff was helpful and cheerful. I didn't care for the wines, I like my wine made with grapes. But my friend bought several bottles. So to each her own. I got some Christmas ornaments for my neighbor's kids with their names on them. They were cute. Lots of good shopping if you like it like that. I do. While I was shopping there were at least 4 different races in there and I didn't notice any form of racism. The staff seemed more than happy to help everyone equally and did there best to make sure everyone had an enjoyable shopping experience. Hope you do to.

Regarding the Apple Barn Restaurant & Winery in Pigeon Forge Tennessee: The food was very average but putting that employee was cleaning the room where patrons were still eating dinner. Dinner hour was NOT over and she was dusting shades and when done with that she was using the same wet rag to wipe off empty tables and cleaning salt & pepper shakers, etc. If that was not unsanitary enough, she started the vacuum and was using it around the tables and chairs. THAT is when we decided we should exit and we will not be returning nor will we recommend it to anyone.

A distasteful display of Managerial skills on the treatment of their customers. Clearly this guy is still stuck in a time warp of the old south which was clearly evident on his treatment of 4 African-American women. Makes one wonder why would a company striving for excellence in this American economy, would employ an ill trained manager of leading it's employees of the task of servitude to it's customer and potential returning clients in a tourist atmosphere such as the Smokey Mountain. Good for them on getting their money refunded on the goods they had already purchased. This visit clearly did not warrant my money being spent on an establishment, still cradling the Old South embarrassing mentality for race and gender discrimination.

My husband and I stopped in here while in town and were pleased to find we enjoyed several of their wines. The gentleman conducting our tasting (which is free) explained the differences in each one we tried, and he didn't rush us so we were able to taste and enjoy. We ended up liking several different wines, so we brought home a few bottles.

Very friendly staff. The apple wines are surprisingly complex and compare well with traditional grape white wines and wine blends. Overall, it was an interesting experience, and I'll go there again next time I'm visiting the area.

Service was absolutely horrible. Very rude. Apparently my money is not good enough. I found only one wine that was appealling. If you're doing the Wine Trail, just walk in, get your card stamped, and walk out. That's all they're worth. Other wineries are more deserving of my money
