Scott Allen has served as Post University’s Chief Financial Officer since July 2011. He joined Post University in 1999 and served as Vice President, Finance and Administration from 2000 until acquiring his current role in 2011.
With 23 years experience in private higher education within the state of Connecticut, Mr. Allen manages all aspects of the university's finance, budget, financial aid, and compliance operations, as well as human resources, facilities, and contract and auxiliary services.
Prior to joining Post University, Mr. Allen held a 10-year career with the University of New Haven. Since then, he has been a prominent member of the executive management team who has helped lead the University through a period of substantial growth while still maintaining its focus on student achievement and satisfaction.
Most recently, Mr. Allen has spearheaded the efforts to break ground on a new athletic field on the campus and renovate existing residence halls.
Mr. Allen is a graduate of the University of New Haven where he received his Master of Business Administration with honors, and holds a B.S. in Management from Central Connecticut State University.
