I've had this place bookmarked forever and finally had the chance to go last night. We were both working late and hungry so we decided to eat first and hang out later. Since it's a short walk from his place, I decided to park my car there so that we could enjoy the weather, take in the awesome lake view, and finally eat dinner here. We got a big table to ourselves near the kitchen and two glasses of Chianti to get our evening started and unwind from the day. We took a quick glance at the menu and decided to start with the carpaccio, roasted tomatoes and burrata, and the creole shrimp. The burrata and shrimp were perhaps my favorite - so simple but done perfectly. Burrata is like crack to us and we were fighting over who would take the last piece. The shrimp is a generous serving of 4 perfectly seasoned and spicy shrimp. We split that order and then decided to get a baked pasta dish and the sausage fennel pizza with a crispy bacon topping. Both were amazing and we were beyond stuffed with no room for dessert. We were both buzzed and full from dinner. Good thing we walked so that we could burn it off.

The pizza here is delicious. It is real ITALIAN pizza, not American fast food pizza like Pizza Hut or Dominoes. Yes this place is great compared to the places in it's vicinity, but it is over rated by the people saying it is the best ever. It is not, unless you have traveled around the world and have tasted pizza in more than at least 5 countries, like me, you will understand Pizza here is not the best. It might by very good for locals compared to their fast food pizza, because this place serves real pizza, but Italian "style"It is very good and I am glad I discovered this place so I may come again. But for people who have only tasted Pizza in one area, please don't say this place is the best because frankly you haven't tasted that many pizzas to know it. 5 Stars for such a close atmosphere and pizza to pizza from Europe.

Great Pizza , entrees, dessert and drinks. Do not miss the cannoli. Pizzas, pick any, they are all great, but the Mona Lisa is special. as for beers the Moretti La Rosa is unbelievable. Definitively a great place to eat.

Not a good experience. Poor management. Over priced. Over rated. Food isn't very good. Would never return or recommend.

The pizza is excellent. My girlfriend and I like to share a pizza and get an appetizer. The place isn't expensive unless you order wine. I take the trek down there from Newport once a month or so because it is so good. Their pizza with sausage is unreal.

I have been going to Pizza Vino before there was a review in the paper and there was never anyone even there. Everynight there was seating and service all to yourself. After the review it's very crowded and you need reservations. I am glad their doing well but I miss the old vibe there. They even changed their menu and it's still great but I miss the old menu. Overall the food is great and healthier then a normal pizza place. I would highly recommend this place and try something on the menu you would not normal try because every single thing is great. The chef is one of the best. The employees are not the best but their food makes up for it.
