That time we went hiking and camping in the Lake District

#PrettyTastyAdventures #TravelPhotography
After 5 hours in the car, heading north from London, we finally reached the Lake District. It was 2am and we were tired. Arriving so late meant we weren't able to enter the campsite, so we opted for a spot of wild camping instead.

#Turkey #Tourism
About 15 minutes outside of Denizli, Turkey is one of the most awe inspiring natural sites I have ever seen. Pammukkale, now a UNESCO world heritage site, is also known as "cotton castle" as it was built on top of the white "castle" which is in total about 2,700 metres long, 600m wide and 160m high. Entrance to the site costs 25 Turkish Lira ( approx, £ 6.80), which is well worth it, considering at least an hour long barefoot hike up ...

Last week Monday I had the great adventure and priviledge of watching John Mayer live in concert. It was incredible to be there as I had been a JM super fan for many years, thanks to this song..

Have you ever walked along the marina at a coastal town and wondered what life on a boat would be like? I have breezed past plenty of marinas in my 29 years of life and the same thoughts and questions always cross my mind..

During a recent visit to South Africa, I went on three safaris, the most remarkable of which was the sunset and sunrise safaris at the Garden Route Game Lodge on the N2 in Albertinia. We experienced two, 2 x hour long game drives on closed top landrovers, looking for lion, white rhino, giraffe, elephant, buffalo, cheetah and an abundance of antelope and smaller mammal species. We were lucky to see pretty much everything we'd set out...

I recently travelled to South East Asia for work. Whilst there, I received news that my grandfather had passed away after his long battle with throat Cancer. The next day, I got a tattoo in his honor and memory. My grandad was the strongest, most resilient person I have ever known. He had a good run and a good life. He loved and was loved. He was patient, calm, selfless and above all, loyal. Up until his last breath, he was taken ...
