Very nicely decorated rooms. The Queen rooms in the Heritage wing are very small, but reasonably priced. Not a problem if your just sleeping here. There was a wedding on so they "upgraded" us to the Heritage wing. Tiny room with a view of a wall. I upgraded us to the presidential suite. It is a terrific room with an ok view. But overpriced in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I just wish they had told me when I called about the wedding. I would probably stay here again because my wife loves how the rooms are decorated. Just make sure and tell them exactly what you want when you make the reservation.

Nice and cozy location. Can get too warm at times. Smell of gas in hallway due to old furnace? Good place for weddings. Curious to stay here for a night. Reminds me of 1900's Alberta.

Went for a wedding. It was alright. The microphone was pretty spotty, not sure if it was provided by the hotel or not.

A very nice boutique hotel with a few drawbacks. Loved the breaskfast included in room fare and it's very cozy. Every room is uniquely decorated. I had the "Monroe" which was Victorian. I thought the windows didn't do a good enough job at blocking noisy traffic sounds and the bathroom had very little counter space. Additionally, my room had too much furniture for its size. Beyond that, the price, location and comped breakfast make for a great value.

Steak was cooked correctly and tasty. Bread was cold and not that good. Waiter tried to tell us that trout is the same as salmon which is so not true. Desserts were good ans had a good selection of wine.

Took advantage of an offer that included a suite upgrade, wine / cheese plate and breakfast included. The room was spacious and comfortable. All amenities were as advertised and no unpleasant surprises. There was nothing over and above our high expectations but they were definitely met.
