So I was researching Time-of-Use rates with Duke-Progress. We're flat rate now. We intend to charge at home at night. Has anyone switched to TOU and found it saved them any money?

I know this question is highly dependent on each home's energy use.

Yet another project bites the dust. For less than 2 hours of my time and $60 I have a up to date LED kitchen fixture that use 25% less energy that the old fluorescent tubes. Be sure to click the 'i' to read about the picture.

New carport was installed today. I am very pleased. It's 19x20 and 7 foot high. It's more to keep the leaves and tree gunk off the car more so than sun or rain protection.

Set the bridge in place over the creek and did the footings. I assembled the hand rails (the camera stopped) and finished up the bridge.

Closer view of the garden bridge decking. The deck boards have a 1/8" gap between them. 27 boards in all.

I stained the wood over the last few days, so today I got to do the actual assembly of the bridge deck. I'm going to wait and put the hand rails on once I set it in place.

Wrote up my 1st impressions of my B'day present.

I got a 2015 Pixel LS for Christmas. I wonder if anyone with Linux running on the Pixel has tried using Android Studio? I use Studio on Window currently and before I try this I'm wondering if it will perform. Thanks!
