After a friend told me to check out Kung Fury (which I knew about, but never saw), it inspired the B-team from the +ComicBookCast2 to do an audio commentary for the film. Tom, Sean and I joined forces and we had a BLAST commenting on this! And then we commented on Dragon Ball Z Resurrection 'F', which I'm really looking forward to sharing with you guys!
Thank you guys for the experience! I missed doing podcasts like these! Excited to do more!

An old article I wrote about Easy A and its commentary on slut-shaming.

I stand by everything I said in the article, and I do like the film EXCEPT for two things. First, I didn't like how Olive makes things worse for herself in some scenes, like how she's blamed for giving someone else a sexually transmitted disease and goes along with it instead of having someone else tell the truth. I know she's a generous girl, but even for her this would have been goddamn stupid. Second, her friend is such a horrible person in this film, and she NEVER apologises in the end for indirectly starting the rumour. Olive has to apologise for lying, but while the friend is seen at the end being regretful, she doesn't get ANY repercussions for her actions in ANY way. I thought I'd hate the "parents who are trying to be cool" trope, but honestly I liked the parents okay, so I don't really mind. Maybe they and the teachers could have been more involved in the issue instead of allowing the teenagers roam around and do whatever they want, but they do offer up advice when necessary.

Still, the film's pretty good outside of those complaints and I still like how it handled its messages.
