Do it!!!
It's our Internet. We made it, and it has remade us, changing the way we communicate, learn, share and create. We want the Internet to continue to live up to its promise, fostering innovation, creativity and freedom. We don't want regulations that will turn our ISPs into gatekeepers, ...

A Time-Lapse Map of Every Nuclear Explosion Since 1945 - by Isao Hashimoto
Japanese artist Isao Hashimoto has created a beautiful, undeniably scary time-lapse map of the 2053 nuclear explosions which have taken place between 1945 and 1998, beginning with the Manhattan Project's "Trinity" test near Los Alamos and concluding with Pakistan's nuclear tests in May of 1998. This leaves out North Korea's two alleged nuclear tests in this past decade (the legitimacy of both of which is not 100% clear).

Each nation gets a blip and a flashing dot on the map whenever they detonate a nuclear weapon, with a running tally kept on the top and bottom bars of the screen. Hashimoto, who began the project in 2003, says that he created it with the goal of showing"the fear and folly of nuclear weapons." It starts really slow — if you want to see real action, skip ahead to 1962 or so — but the buildup becomes overwhelming.

Probably the best thing I've stumbled upon in a while.  This should help inform/ground all the Monday morning QBs out there, (it sure grounded me).

I have faith, cuz, in a kingdom that doesn't run out of bullets, or has to deal with weapon jams, (Dan 2:44).  My point is, if you like your AR/AK and don't want to give it up, that's one thing and I completely agree with you that you should be allowed to do so.  Yet, holding on to a fancy piece of metal will not bring you or your family salvation. Every example of people "resisting" the U.S military ends the same way.  Therefore I posit that it's not faith, but wishful thinking that's driving your reasoning.

This place rocks! The food's great, (especially if you think you're not into Indian food)! The service is friendly and the restaurant is clean. If you're in the area and want to try some fantastic food in a down home place, give Kashmir a try.
