Sept 15, 2013 is the 150th anniversary of the conferring of the first Medals of Honor to the survivors of Andrew's Raid and the "abduction of "the General." We are urging all Civil War  buffs to attend this historic re-screening of the 1926 classic at the Hollywood Theater in Northeast Portland, Oregon on Thursday, Sept 5, 2013 starting at 7:00pm. There will be live organ music accompaniment  and tickets are available ...$8-10.00 for admittance. Volunteers from the Oregon Civil War Sesquicentennial will be on hand to answer movie-goers questions about the making of "The General" in Oregon and about the true story about the "abduction of The General."
