Elon's Tweets on this topic have been disappeared. Perhaps the board of directors of Tesla think it may be unwise to make a  $2.5 Million dollar / year ($125 times 20,000) commitment over Twitter. I'll be interested to hear from Tesla owners what becomes of this topic. Will owners receive a service credit if they already paid for said mats? Will owners who have taken delivery but not purchased mats receive them at their next servicing? Will new buyers of Model S get mats included at no extra charge? Stay tuned.
