Cute little place in Oak Park. Good food and friendly service. Decent brunch menu selection and great coffee to go with it. Worth returning to.

I am not a vegetarian but I have waiting for a fresh and healthy place to open in Oak Park and it's finally here and hopefully, unlike half the other shops on Marion, it's here to stay! Fast friendly service and very cute decor - unpretentious modern? The taste of the food was excellent but I was disappointed about a few aspects of it. I got the "beef" nachos. I got the end of the bag chips - ya know the broken pieces. I like to scoop up the toppings with the chips but I had to eat it with a fork instead for lack of full size chips. I also ordered the pasta and lentil soup. I could tell it was homemade. Full of flavor and not salty. I would hardly call it soup though. Where was the broth? So much to try, I'll be back next weekend.

The waitress was very inattentive. The kale side salad was below par. It only had 3 other vegetables in it, including just a couple (a few at most) slices worth of onion, shredded carrots and a soggy tomato. The wrap might have tasted better if the experience was actually a good one. But as it was, it wasn't much better, if at all, than average. They got a $4 tip, but that's because they didn't even come back to the table after they stopped the bill off. If it were my choice, they would've gotten far less than that.

This place is so perfect. I'm vegan, and there are no vegan places in my town, so finding this place (not too far from home!) was a wish come true. First off, the setup is cozy, warm, welcoming, and decorated with gorgeous artwork from local artists (each one for sale!!). I love that they offer local artists a place to show of their work. The service is absolutely wonderful, as well. Because the place is so small (like a little cafe), I've only seen one waitress both times I've been. If the place was totally full, I'm guessing they'd have more servers, but I've never eaten when it was totally full (I onced walked in when there were no empty tables available, so I had to leave), so just one waitress was really needed. She was so sweet and accomodating. If we had any questions about the menu, she clearly knew what she was talking about and answered them. Okay, so the most important thing: the food. Besides all the other amazing qualities of Munch, the food will have you coming back a million times. I'm definitely biased; I think vegan food tastes better than any carnivorous food ever could. Everything is seasoned and cooked to PERFECTION (however they do have some raw food options, of course). From burgers, to BLTs, to pizza, to salads, and homemade soups, I know that I would try every item on their menu without a doubt. **If you're on the fence about vegan food, it's probably because of false stereotypes, or from holding on to what you knew vegan food to be many, many years ago. Some misunderstand vegan food to be "fake," or tasteless, or totally manmade or something. In reality, the food here is unbelievably tasty and FRESH--from organic and local markets. Trust me, there's nothing here you could eat that you'd be able to TASTE the difference between it and its carnivorous counterpart.** Go eat at Munch!!! It's delicious!!!

Fantastic! We had the black bean burger and the "beefy" tostadas. Both were absolutely delicious. The bean burger was so well seasoned that no condiments were needed! It is cash only, but they have an atm inside the store. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely go here again!

Everything is great on the menu. The lasagna, black bean burger and tostados are some of my favorites. The roasted potatoes or the mashed sweet potatoes are great sides as well.

One of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. And it was actually not just veggie, but vegan! I had the herb roasted potatoes with the burger and one of the vegan shakes. Could not have been happier. One of the best meals I've had since going vegan (and I actually have had some really good food so far). The only sad thing is they don't deliver, but they do have carry out.

Munch hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
