I will never again eat here. Apparently the owner, Deb VonWald, thinks she has a monopoly on the downtown pizza availability. She gets to pass go and collect $200 while ousting competition through red tape and complaints of fairness. She says in a Post Bulletin article: "I don't feel like the trucks and downtown brick-and-mortar businesses are even on the same playing field," she said. "I have secured a downtown location for seven years. I pay special district taxes. I pay an exorbitant amount of rent. I also pay to take care of the building I'm in. For a food truck to be able to outfit a truck and poach business wherever they can talk somebody into letting them be on their property is really frustrating." "I think if other people were finding that businesses were trying to compete with them in the same way, they'd be as outraged as I feel about it," she said. "I honestly don't think there's a place for it in Rochester. I feel extremely strongly about it." How dare someone start a business and compete with an establishment. We must all be fair I guess.

Don't eat here. The owner uses the sob story of having to pay higher taxes for the location when competition tries to move in. She also tries to find ways to force them away. Even to places that have operated in the city for much longer than she has.

ZPizza is an awesome place to get great quality pizza. They have tons of selections ranging from you basic cheese pizza, to California style, and beyond. They also offer a fairly large and varied selection of vegetarian pizza, as well as a couple vegan options. In addition to those niche markets, they also offer gluten free crust. As a vegetarian myself, I highly recommend checking ZPizza out for their meatless selections. You wont be disappointed! In comparison to most other local pizza places, they are a few dollars more expensive. However, I feel the added cost is well worth the quality of food and service that you receive.

Pizza is fantastic. Decor and cleanliness of place is solid. Good looking place. However the staff is here is terrible. Rude, Rushed, & no situational awareness. Seen better service at a kid's lemonade stand.

It appears the owner of this business is attempting to increase THEIR business by keeping other legitimate businesses, aka downtown food/pizza trucks, away from their imagined perimeter by publicly whining and decrying the other businesses. Her main problem is her food isn't good enough to stand up to the competition, in my opinion. I'll pass the word around big time to all of my friends and suggest they don't go anywhere near the place. Looks like it's already getting around .

Very exciting that they offer gluten free pizza (in small and large pizzas). I tried the Berkeley pizza with gluten free crust and it was awesome. The vegetables are super fresh. The number of pizza, salad, and sandwich options is terrific. I did take a while to receive our pizzas, but the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend calling in ahead of time for gluten free or specialty pizzas not by the slice.

I've been going to zpizza once a week for about year now. The pizza is good but the last 2/3 times I've been there they didn't have any pepperoni. I'm just gonna guess that pepperoni is one of the top sellers in not the top. So when I walk all the way across Mayo campus and only have a half an hour dinner break maybe you can understand the frustration. Hope you fix this.

Vegan cheese is available (on whole pizza orders only)! The Pizza is good, but a bit overpriced. The staff is generally rude, which turns me off to this place.

zpizza hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
