You might consider this a “no-brainer,” but many Customers have horror stories about their suppliers. Be easy to work with and reliable, and Customers will want to work with you again – and refer you to others.

Remember, each of your Customers have their OWN business to run. If they can count on you to do what you say you’ll do – in the time you said you’d do it – and they’ll be more willing to work with you again. And, after you deliver consistently for a while, they’ll be more unlikely to look anywhere else.

Follow Up, Follow Up (And Then Follow Up Again)!

With everything involved in obtaining a new Customer – marketing, lead capture, follow up, proposals, agreements, and more – why would you want to do just one project and consider it done? I wouldn’t. Yet, many companies do this all the time. Usually the thinking is “If they like my work enough, they’ll call me for more.”

But, your Customers are busy and probably don’t have time to follow up with you – so you need to keep in touch with them.

When working with each other again, you and your Customer know what to do and what to expect. Your repeat Customer also knows your standard of work and your support or service – so they already know, like, and trust you.

This makes repeat purchases, quotations, agreements, etc much easier.

You Don’t Have To Resell Your Business To Repeat Customers...

Getting new prospects can be hard work for most businesses. In fact so much that a lot of one man businesses struggle so much with it that they experience the feast or famine cycle over and over again.
But, once you sell your business to a Customer once, the hard work is done – as long as you do a great job, your Customer is likely to use you again.

You’re More Likely To Get Paid Quicker...

When you work with the same Customers repeatedly, you both get used to the pay cycle. No more stress about when (or if) you’ll get paid!. It goes without saying that if your Customer didn’t pay on time, would you really want them as a repeat Customer?

You Don’t Have To Prove Yourself...
