We had brunch and it was definitely tasty. The service was a bit slow, but otherwise fine. The place has a nice atmosphere. We'll definitely consider a trip back to try out other parts of the menu.

Most uncomfortable chairs ever. Do not go for breakfast there on a weekday. Worst service. Waitstaff constantly disappearing, even if you're the only table there. Have sent cold eggs back to kitchen twice. This has never happened at Shade.(?)

I came here for brunch in hopes that we would find a good place with nice patio but would not have to fight the Sunday brunch crowds. We were happy to find that Canopy has plenty of seating and offers great decor inside and out. We opted for the patio outside under the "canopy". We ordered a mimosa pitcher for 3 people and were very satisfied. I had the smoked salmon and my friends has the breakfast pizza and the french toast. Much to our delight were are all quite happy with our meals. The parking wasn't too bad. The lot next to the restaurant gave us plenty of room. I wish they restaurant had more specialty items but overall it was a pleasant experience. The service was good. The food was good. The atmosphere was good.

I've been to Canopy several times, a lot more when it first opened and again last weekend after a long hiatus. They still offer valet for tips, that is always nice in that area. The atmosphere is a bit different now than a couple years ago. Still pretty busy on a Sunday but I saw more families and a mix of ages then the former trendy crowd. The food was good but not quite as good as I remember, or maybe I’m just over brunch? Horrors! I will say the brunch mimosa’s and cocktails are still yummy and reasonable. The staff was super accommodating for a last minute group of 10 even more accommodating when the group ended up being 6 because of no shows. The waiter and manager were very attentive. My only gripe would be that when the meal was done we couldn't find our waiter. He did split the check for us when asked (I know, I know split checks are a horror but not everyone had cash and drinks and it was for a bday.) He split them wrong and didn't account for the splitting the birthday girls tab. I ended up paying for all the drinks, which is fine because cocktail karma is a good thing to have.

We met friends at Canopy last night and had a very disappointing dining experience. The space has seen some fine restaurants come and go but the decor in its current incarnation is really beautiful and a nice step up. The atmosphere when we first walked in was very pleasant and conducive to conversation. That's where the experience peaked. Our waiter disappeared for a full 10 minutes and no other staff noticed. At one point, a stream (a long stream) of young people paraded through the front door and the dining room on their way to...I don't know where, but I think the kitchen. Most importantly, the food was a huge disappointment - significant variations from what the menu promised and lacking in flavor (e.g., a salad advertised as "arugula, romaine..." came out as a little arugula on top of a mound of romaine, and a bland dressing). Won't be going back.

I went here for dinner on a Monday night and sat out on the dog friendly patio. The appetizers looked really good, but I opted out and got the Crispy Chicken Breast Sandwich. The chicken was tender, moist, and fried to perfection as a nice contrast to the soft challah bun. Overall, the food was quite good and the patio was nice, if lacking in character. I will definitely be going back with a bigger group to try out a few of the appetizers and desserts.

Good food! You get big portions for a good price. Breakfast is very reasonable. Brunch is really good. Check them out during Houston Restaurant Weeks...3 courses for $20 is a steal!

Ate here for brunch and very much enjoyed it. The decor is beautiful and food was good. The service was excellent. I had the french toast and would highly recommend it.
