We found this establishment on Groupon. It is local to us so we were excited to give it a try. What a disappointment. Upon entering an upscale looking establishment, we sat down at the bar and were promptly told the owner did not want people using Groupon to sit at the bar. They then sat us in some uncomfortable table and basically ignored us to tend to the non Groupon customers. This place is a joke, it felt like we were crashing some under attended party. I wouldn't go back if they paid me. I hope it shuts down honestly. Don't waist your time or money, there are too many nice friendly places in the area. Bellavino just plain sucks.

I had a great experience here when I went here last Friday night. They have such amazing ribs and wings, I always take them with some bottles of beer.

Went late, asked if the kitchen was still open. We were assured that food service was available and were seated. 15 minutes later, having not been visited by a waiter or maitre-d, we waived a disinterested waitress who informed us that the kitchen was closed and had been so for a while. When we asked the owner (who seems to be a significant sampler of his own wares) why we were misled regarding the availability of food, he recommended we go elsewhere and not plan on patronizing his establishment in the future. Best advice I could have received considering the circumstances - we are not returning!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! Save your money and time! This place is so overpriced and the owner is so Rude. When it was time to close (11pm) the owner came by our table and said "were closed time to go" he was so rude! We questioned his behavior and actions and told him that he had been rude the moment we walked in. He said " GET THE F*** OUT!" Please go somewhere else. If you read comments from other review sites its consistent with overpriced rude behavior.

Sunday wine tasting is great. Very weak on the promised munchies. Perhaps bring your own crackers?

This a nice little place, elegant but homey. It's great for a date night with your spouse, which is how I experienced it for the first time. We ordered the bison meatloaf (very good) and the penne with salmon (tasty but not exceptional). Next time, I'm trying a few things off the bar menu, like bison sliders and the crab cake with goat cheese. They also have an interesting cheese menu. THE TWO BEST PARTS: 1--The amazing live music. 2--The salted caramel crunch cake.

I tried to give this place several tries. After all, the area really needs a few nice wine bars. But everytime I go I get so disappointed. The wine is a bit overpriced, the food portion is tiny, and the price is more like Beverly Hills than Thousand Oaks. But what I dislike the most is the people who work there. The service is inattentive and slobby. The only one who gave good service is the Mexican food runner/bus boy. Don't even go to any of the event they send you emails on. It's a waste of time and money! I wish the owner would get a clue and make some changes. I'm more than happy to pay the price if it was worth it. It's not.
