Here's a video of Tenochtitlán in 3D. Tenochtitlán (modern-day México City) was founded in 1325 CE and was the capital of the expanding Aztec Empire until it was captured by the Spanish in 1521 CE. At its peak, it was the largest city in the Pre-Columbian New World. Its temples, palaces, wide avenues, and monumental structures impressed the Spanish, who compared it to ancient Rome.
