In a span of just over a year, The Limited, Eddie Bauer, Banana Republic, and now LOFT have all vacated or will vacate Marketplace Mall in Champaign.

Congratulations to Zach Wetherell for brokering a lease for Planet Fitness to occupy 11,000 SF of space for a new location in Effingham. Expected opening is second quarter of 2018.

The Village of Savoy has approved the annexation of the land for the Gateway Exchange project at the Curtis Rd. & I-57 interchange. The project hopes to start development in 2018.

Blake Pryor of CBCDR and John Kilroy of Paladin Property Management recently brokered a deal to bring “Hearing at Home”, a hearing instrument dispensary and hearing aid practice run by Ashley May, to 119 W. Park St in Taylorville, IL. Ashley plans to be open in early 2018!

Today was the grand opening of Ashar African Market at 501 N. Cunningham Ave. in Urbana. Ashley Quach of CBCDR represented the tenants in finding the space for their store. Congratulations to the owners who received $1,000 business grant for opening in Urbana.
