A buddy of mine who is a music school teacher in a middle school in Trenton, NJ (very low income) is trying to get a mixing board and speakers so his students can put on their first musical. Won't you please donate a couple bucks?

The goal is only $800

Insects make a ton of sense.  I wouldn't be surprised if our ancestors ate insects a great deal when available.

I am at a crossroad. I have been IFing for the past year and neglected to count how much food I was getting for the past 9 months. I did a check today based on the last few days and I'm getting 1500 calories a day. This is causing me to lose out on building muscle as I lift heavier. Question is, do I abandon IF or do I just try to force more in during the feeding window?

I'm plateauing big time. I could stand to be heavier (muscle) for my height. I just have to increase clean calories with an emphasis on protein and fat. Carbs post lift.

"Forensic expert: Trayvon Martin shot leaning over George Zimmerman" is a headline I just read....

What does that actually prove other than where people were at the time of the shooting? It doesn't prove aggressor....

Hey... I started punching a kid then he turned around and leveled me and got on top to hold me down so I couldn't do it again while shouting for help so I shot him in self defense...

Hey... I'm Adolf Hitler and I started a war and when other countries fought back and won, I was the victim.....

Hey... I'm a Bengal tiger who attacked a researcher in my territory but before I could eat him he shot me so put that endangered animal-killer in jail!

Just to reiterate: Paleo + Milk is kicking ass for me. I was at about 15-1800 calories per day without trying for a deficit but my lifts were stalling big time. I started making sure to drink at least 1 quart but between 1 and 2 quarts of whole, grass-fed milk (had added vitamin D3) every day. I'm now at about 3500 calories a day and recovery is much better. My gains are increasing again and I am getting bigger. If you are looking to put on absolute strength, this is the method I'd suggest.

I've been paleo solidly for 18 months and on/off for 5 years before that. Until about a year ago, I was anti-dairy. I have learned some things and changed my assessment of it. I think it's a good thing to cut at first and then reintroduce later. If you tolerate it, by all means, dairy it up.

I've added whole milk into my diet as a means of getting complete protein/fat to help increase my daily calories. I am drinking Organic Valley whole milk (according to their carton, GMO-free, pasture raised, vitamin d3 added) the grass-feeding means that it's got actual omega-3s.

Anway... in less than a full week of incorporating 1 quart a day, the results are noticeable from a lifting aspect. Paleo + milk + Starting Strength = a good idea.

Not available here unfortunately. I would probably have to drive an hour and a half to maybe find some... If i'm drinking a quart a day, that becomes too much. Also, I may increase from a quart a day depending on how my progress is.

The thing that bothers me most are the Zimmerman cheerleaders. He was an armed vigilante who profiled and followed a person who was literally doing nothing wrong who ended up getting shot despite the fact that he had no intentions of doing anything wrong and the person who killed him didn't suffer any punishment.

Celebrating him is validating armed vigilantism. Promoting armed vigilantism is legalizing murder.

What a great place! I've gone a few times and every time the food and service is great. I've had their veggie crunch turkey sandwich, chicken salad blt and asparagus soup. Also, their desserts are incredible. Honestly the best cupcakes anywhere. And that's not even mentioning their other pastries. If that weren't enough, they have great coffee (and even put a fern in my cappuccino which I thought was a nice touch). Seriously. Go here. Great places like this don't come along often.
