Microsoft support scammers found a new way to look legitimate: they are using the webpage www.support.microsoft.com/help to download the LogMeIn remote control software, I just got called by one of them. Was funny to talk to them all the way until the download of the file Support-LogMeInRescue.exe and then tell them I can't start exe files on my PC, because I'm running Linux, which was the point where they hang up immediately :-)

A tip for everyone who has Bitcoin: In case you had Bitcoin on August 1st 2017 exactly, you automatically have Bitcoin Cash now, even if you sold it e.g. on August 2nd. If you have an online wallet, you might not need to do anything and see it in your account. Then you can transfer it to an exchange like poloniex.com and convert it to Bitcoin. One Bitcoin Cash is about 0.2 Bitcoin worth at the moment.
It is a bit more difficult, if you have it in a local wallet, e.g. with the bitcoin-qt client. I exported my private keys from my normal Bitcoin wallet, installed the BitcoinABC wallet for Bitcoin Cash, then imported all keys on the console with importprivkey. I think it you can get the Bitcoin Cash as well by importing the private keys to the wallet at https://blockchain.info/wallet And to be on the safe side, first transfer all your Bitcoin to another address before you import the private keys in any software or website.
Merry Christmas :-)

I'm developing a new game for the Vectrex, if there is enough interest:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/frankbuss/bloxorz-for-vectrex-pc-mac-ios-and-android
First version of the hardware is all open source hardware and easy to solder, if you want to build a cartridge yourself:
https://hackaday.io/project/28295-vectrex-cartridge
There is also a very nice IDE with an integrated C compiler, debugger and emulator for writing Vectrex games:
http://vide.malban.de
No need for low-level 6809 assembly, for lazy programmers like me :-) The C compiler is based on a patch for the GCC version, which I initially used for the prototype of the Bloxorz game as well. Will use the IDE to develop the final game. See this page if you want to know how it all started and for details about the game implementation, and some background about Vectrex programming:

I decided to finish my port of Bloxorz for the Vectrex, if there is enough interest:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/frankbuss/bloxorz-for-vectrex-pc-mac-ios-and-android

If you are a collector, you might like the boxed version.

I published the first version of the cartridge board as open source hardware, in case someone doesn't want to back my project, but wants to build his/her own game cartridge:
