Apologies to all, but I need to cancel this week's episode. It will be rescheduled, so stay tuned! - Georgia

This week we're talking with Rachel Zimmerman Brachman, Solar System and Technology Education and Public Outreach Specialist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Rachel will give us a guided tour of a fabulous new visualization tool - "Eyes on the Solar System."  Loaded with NASA mission data, "Eyes" lets you explore our Solar System and beyond from your computer.  Amazing educational resource!

Invest in the future of children's astronomy education in Tanzania! This week we'll be talking with Chuck and Susan Ruehle, the founders of Telescopes to Tanzania (TtT, TtT@astrowb.org). TtT has been working in Northern Tanzania since 2010.  It focuses on using telescopes and astronomy to provide a hands-on methodology for teaching math, science, and geography. Join us!

Let's talk education! Know what's wrong with it? Know how to fix it? Want to join in a Hangout to hash it out? As you may know, +CosmoQuest is doing an amazing 36-hour Hangoutathon this weekend hosted by +Pamela L. Gay and +Nicole Gugliucci . We're looking for a few people who'd like to tackle the education issue in a segment airing at 5:00 PM CDT tomorrow. Interested? Email me or anyone at +CosmoQuest Personally, I'd like to toss standardized testing out the window....
