Michael J. Evans: Law + Marketing + Technology

I'm an Internet mass tort personal injury lawyer who seeks justice for injured people with serious injury, death or environmental cases. My personal philosophy is that it's my duty and privilege to go to war on behalf of the powerless, seeking truth and justice against the powerful. I've been doing this over 30 years. I'm also a tech aficionado and social media user, and a consumer advocate. I blog and post about all these things, including how lawyers and small businesses can use the Internet to connect with new clients and customers (some might call this Internet marketing).

Online reputation management (ORM) is becoming relevant to lawyers now that sites such as Avvo permit clients to write reviews that show up in a Google search. How should a lawyer deal with bad reviews? There are articles (and even ORM firms) that help you do it correctly. This lawyer is an example of one who did it the wrong way.
