there is a massive difference in life quality between being given by an adopted tribe, and being self-led, while choosing community. i enjoy the latter.

i honor the need for women to create allies. it's an ancient, powerful tradition that has kept us safe. and, i invite us all to uplevel the kind of ally we are, by identifying the commitments at play. we can support each other's fears, concerns and personalities by discussing individuals, circumstances and situations. or, we can support who we are in a larger context of contribution, and let the rest, Fall.

All of my kids challenge me.  Not like in the evolutionary sense, but they actually look me in the eye, or, more defiant, they don't look at me, and consciously, purposefully challenge me...

So this is how I answer the challenge:  I look at what I've got.  And consider my options.  Then I choose the prettiest one.

The rad thing about being a publisher is watching your friends jump up, yelp, grab their cameras and steal your stuff. Seeing them in print is fun, too. Taking THEIR stuff as collateral is even better. With Robyn Wolfe and the rest.

"I'm honored (and psyched!!) to have a contribution included in the upcoming issue of Amulet Magazine. Stay tuned!" - Robyn Wolfe

At Amulet we love all kinds of Alchemy.  And this oil is seriously badass. http://www.amuletmagazine.com/2013/07/30/covet-summer-2013-alchemy-oil-by-maya-hackett-for-robyn-wolfe/

'm really excited to see David & Brian Wolfe lifting the curtain on the competitive sports in the Waldorfish background. Not for any other reason than it's honest. David heals pro athletes and grew up in the NFL, while Brian led our Waldorf school to a basketball championship last Spring. So it's totally possible to hold a healthy picture of winning on the court when it feeds the kids (and, oh, are they incredible to watch!) and release it where it's not needed. Fulfillment of the child and community includes all of it.
