For day 3 of my A-Z Blogging Marathon, I have a very addictive street food from Morocco. Chickpeas Shawarma is the vegetarian version of the meat based wrap very popular on the streets Morocco. I made a tahini yogurt sauce and a some freshly chopped salad to fill inside the pita along with the roasted chickpeas. Be sure to make extra roasted chickpeas as my kids snacked on half of it by itself and I had to make a second batch.

B for Baghrir, is my second recipe in the A-Z blogging Marathon. Baghrir, a Moroccan Semolina pancake also know as the 'pancake with 1000 holes' is a great choice for weekend breakfast or Brunch. I made a very simple orange butter sauce to serve with Baghrir.

Kai Manam (Flavor of one's hand) - Something my mother always talked about. This Thakkali / tomato Juice rasam was one of her special rasam and my favorite. The flavor increases tremendously when made in Eeya Chombu :)
I am so happy that my boys share the same feeling towards this rasam and love it. When tomatoes are in full season, this is a great rasam to make. It has no tamarind or rasam powder. Made with freshly ground tomatoes, black pepper, cumin seeds and green chilies, this rasam is very flavorful with a bowl of hot rice and ghee or as is like a soup.

Making our own popcorn at home is so simple and quick. One of my favorite kind of popcorn is the Old Fashioned Kettle Corn Popcorn. It is mildly sweet and mildly salty and the aroma of freshly popped kettle corn popcorn is just amazing. This is one of my favorite to eat at the state fairs.
