Amazing! Black has touched on the need to retire the hackneyed cliché that says nothing at the moment it is intended (at least as a placeholder) to say something of substance. Amazing! He is so right to make the wry comedic turn (with a light touch) that Scott Israel is right about his leadership: truly amazing, but not in the sense that he intended. Synonyms to Amazing are Stupendous and Stupefying - which could be true simultaneously. Shall we resurrect the use of 'Brilliant!' (and 'Fabulous" before) that the Brits so overused? New ideas?

The author glossed over the fact that the Ku Klux Klan was founded by Democrats. The lynch mob participants were all Democrats. The ever so corrupt practices of Jim Crow laws and the like were administered exclusively by Democrats. Did anyone in the Democrat Party ever get down on their knees and beg forgiveness for the sins of the Democrat Party? But in the end, she points her finger at the GOP as some racist organization since any and all disagreement with BHO can ONLY be a function of slavery-worshipping racism - echoing Joe Biden "they're gonna put y'all back in chains", referring to the Party of Lincoln. Democrats are the party of ignorance masquerading as the intellectual elite.

One new wrinkle on the issue of reduced reproduction: Fund the sexbot industry with large government grants/subsidies, make them as cheaply as possible or just give them away to those segments of society you do NOT want to procreate. If they remain expensive, then they will be available only to the more educated professionals who do NOT reproduce as it is (at least not at the "replacement rate" of 2.1 children per couple). Yes, I fully comprehend the implications of choosing who should not procreate - who gets to choose and who is targeted - would make for a rather spirited debate. (I have joked darkly that folks crawling over the border should be given PhD's, because PhD's have the lowest birthrate of all.) Banning sexbots will never work; it will just create a black market for the forbidden fruit. So embrace the trend, and shape its deployment.

Important topic, pathetic article. (Hopefully Harvard would not pass a student who states that "the policy implications are clear" when they have not supported such a conclusion. Shades of Global Warmism.) As the father of a daughter who rocked Calculus and Physics (AP/NHS) then veered off into the "soft sciences", I understand the cultural influences upon girls' academic choices. The pivot comes later than elementary school - when girls are trying to visualize their futures. A boy's social status is enhanced by becoming an engineer, scientist or economist - he is on his way to fulfilling the positive vision of being a man among men, primary breadwinner and head of household. Such career choices and social roles are still not part of the "script" for American girls; it is tougher for a girl to embrace these objectives as her own. We want our girls to enjoy being little girls but that whole "princess" thing does not exactly put them on the path to "lead engineer" achievements. Perhaps it is our boys who yield to biased teachers and social pressure, feeling compelled to pursue "traditional" careers rather than social work or the arts. Important topic, but the answers (and policy implications) are illusive.

Call me a Racist then. There will not be a limit on waving the American flag in America. My family has fought (and died) for this nation since the Revolutionary War. I will stand and die for the free waving of the flag. Bring it on.
