We stayed at this resort for a church function and the service was horrible. We had a cabin for 28 people, which was VERY expensive. When arriving, we were unable to go the cabin for several hours because they did not want to tell us there was a problem with the heat. After finally going in, the cabin was very appealing however the stove did not work, the microwave sounded like a jet plane and had 2 broken couches. We requested linen at 6:15 pm because they did not supply enough, and approx 12:30 am there were multiple knocks on the door. After being nervous about opening the door at midnight, I open the door and a young gentleman appeared to be intoxicated holding a bag of towels. He also wanted to inspect 1 of the couches. We approached the help desk about these concerns and no one seemed to care. They acted as if this was normal and ok. If we spend over $2000. For a stay of 3 nights I expect decent service.

I booked a cabin here less than 30 days before traveling. I ended up having to cancel the reservation and was told if they were able to re-rent the cabin my deposit of $140 would be placed in escrow. I was fine with this because that was laid out in their documentation. Things changed and I was actually able to travel on the original date I had booked. I had not heard back from them that the cabin had been re-rented to I called to have my reservation re-instated. I was told they couldn't reinstate my reservation but that I could re-book since no one else had. Problem is...I would have to pay the $140 again. Once again, I was fine with this. Problem is I cannot get the first deposit back until I check-out, which means, I lose this money. I am not able to use it for my stay (deposit or towards the remaining balance). They will also not refund it to me after I stay. I am the exact same person staying on the exact same days that I originally booked but that doesn't matter. I was told that $140 does not belong to me anymore! I live 10+ hours away and will most likely not be travelling back here but am not able to get MY deposit back that I am being asked to pay twice for the same EXACT cabin on the same EXACT dates. This is a pretty shady practice if you ask me. When I asked to speak with the manager above the person I was speaking with she refused to let me do so. Even though I asked over, she continued to tell me there was no reason for me to speak to someone else; terrible customer service! BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING! By the way...no where does their policy say that someone must book and check out of the cabin before you get the money in your escrow account. Their policy states "you will be given a cancellation number at the point of your cancellation (I never received this over the phone or in e-mail). If your reservation deposit is placed in escrow, the money will be available for 2 years from the date of your cancellation to be used for another reservation." Nowhere does it state the person must stay and your amount of money will not be available until they check out. Especially when the person staying in the cabin is YOU!

RUDE! Rude !! RUDE!!! Please don't ever bring your family here for a family vacation. This place is by far the worst! The manager (Heather) is by far the rudest piece of creature I've ever encountered. She lied and said there was a noise complaint when only 3 of 10 people were awake watching television. I explained to her that is was a mistake she began to raise her voice and hung up the phone. Not to mention another representative called me earlier making threats to lock me out my cabin because I didn't make time to sign my zero balance invoice that couldn't get sign at check in because their computer was done. Please don't waste your money these people are rude and obnoxious. The cabins are not well kept. This place is ghetto and the employees are rude .

We stayed in Dolly's Doorstep. View was beautiful. Convenient to get to. Hot tub didn't work. Fake fireplace didn't work. And the jets in the main level floor bathtub didn't work.

Hired and fired. After my interview, they called me and hired me. I came in the next day being trained by someone who got promoted to Assistant Manager at the end of that day. I was poorly trained, and instead driven to all our offices to be shown where they are. They could have been using this valuable time teaching me the core of the position as Receptionist. Training lasts two weeks and apparently before that two weeks you aren't even hired. This is what I was told. So, on my third day of taking calls and handling everything they threw at me with finesse, I get called upstairs. I always was able to ask questions and sort out ANY and ALL problems I ran into, however, this apparently isn't enough for my third day. Instead of hearing any warning or motivation to be better, I get laid off by the same person who trained me. At this point, before seeing the looks on the two faces about to fire me, I had NO idea I wasn't fit for the job. If anything I suspected to be promoted already for my great start there! The reason I was fired on quote: "Okay, we are gunna just jump right in. We think you are super sweet, but we haven't seen enough improvement and we are gunna let you go." I just got breathed the worst possible thing and am dumbfounded. I ask "Why wasn't I told how obviously competitive this job would be from the beginning?" Here's why: Unprofessionalism (fired by the seat under the seat under the seat), Improper Training, No Walk Throughs, No Assistance before you start and are expected to jump right in and handle anything. The pay is only what it is because Gatlinburg is voted #1 best place to visit and these jokes pull in billions. Dispicable and do not recommend this easy to get, easier to lose job.

WARNING!!!!! This is by far the absolute worst place I have ever stayed at. It is beyond filthy the customer service is rude and I will NEVER stay here again. This place is filthy the rugs have stains all over them the couches and furniture and all the rugs are all coming up...there's hair in the bathrooms they don't even leave you Kleenex or anything. I have an 18 month old that I cannot even let really run around this place because it's that disgusting. We will be heading out early and eating the money because we can no longer bear the sight of this place and its filthiness. They call themselves luxurious resort cabins but honestly it's a slumlord place and we actually paid $1,300 to stay in this filth. I would recommend that you never even come here the view sucks..the cabins are on top of each other and they completely lied on the website. Its pretty bad when you're on vacation you don't even want to go back to the place that you rented from because you are that disgusted by it. Please don't stay here!!!

NEVER! EVER! EVER!! AGAIN WILL I EVER STAY HERE AGAIN. CHECK IN TIME WAS AT 4:00. I ARRIVED AT 7:00 AND MY CABIN WASN'T READY YET. THEN I WAS TOLD IT WAS 15 MINUTES AWAY AND IT WAS DEFIANTLY AT LEAST TWICE AS LONG. PRIOR TO MY STAY I RECEIVED A CALL ASKING IF I WANTED A FREE UPGRADE. THIS MADE ME SUSPICIOUS BECAUSE IT SOUNDED TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE AND I WAS RIGHT! AFTER MY STAY I RECEIVED AN EMAIL OF CHARGES, SUPPOSEDLY FOR "EXCESSIVE CLEANING" AND MY CC WAS CHARGED. WE LEFT OUR CABIN SPOTLESS SO IM NOT SURE WHAT THE EXCESSIVE PART WAS. WHEN I CALLED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THE SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CHARGES SHE HAD AN ATTITUDE AND WAS VERY RUDE. SHE GAVE VAGUE DESCRIPTIONS OF WHAT THE EXCESSIVE CLEANING WASN'T EVEN SURE WHAT THEY WERE HERSELF. SHE PROMISED TO SEND PICS OF THR DAMAGES BUT I NEVER RECEIVED THEM! WORST PLACE EVER. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. I SAW REVIEWS SIMILAR TO MINE ABOUT CHARGES ONLY AFTER I ALREADY BOOKED AND I WISHED IT WASN'T TOO LATE TO CHANGE MY MIND BUT I WENT ANYWAY WITH AN OPEN MIND. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING NOR RECOMMENDING THEM TO ANYONE!

We stayed in the Panorama for our anniversary. Only stayed 3 nights and there were only 2 of us, but we had a great time. Hot tub was great and cabin was clean. We are planning to come back with the kids in November! Did not have any trouble here. Our 1st time using this company and had no problems and a great time!
