Decent tacos but super snotty and unprofessional servers. While I was there I watched an employee eating behind the counter in the kitchen. Aren't there regulations against that?! It was a real turn off. Doubt I'll go back.

Whenever I'm in the mood for tacos and in the union square area, I always pop in here. The food is great and the service as well. Bonus points for Baja tacos for $1.99 on Wednesdays! All of the tacos are tasty, especially the shrimp and chorizo. I wouldn't order the Mahi Mahi though, it lacks flavor. But, the rest of the tacos are fantastic. And they give you free water!

The tacos here are reliably good. I do like Otto's Tacos across town better, but these are good too and I need a taco hole in every zip code. There's usually a couple varieties of fish tacos available, so go eat here with your pesky pescetarian hard-to-feed friend, like I did. And try some of her gazpacho--which has a bite and zing to it (even though it still feels like drinking a refrigerated condiment). The tortilla to fixins ratio was good here (although since the taco didnt fall apart I didn't make use of the second tortilla and some would argue it's not a generous taco unless you have to wipe your face/hands with the second tortilla). Wednesday after 3pm, $1.99 baja fish tacos! (beer battered atlantic whitefish, cabbage, crema, pickled onions, salsa fresca). They'll also have sabefish, tuna, and other fishes on different days. You'll probably spend more here for less fill than you'd get at Chipotle next door but once in a while it's okay to cheat on Chip.

Best tacos I had since I went to Mexico. The location is not much and the service is minimal, but you don't pay for them, either.

Small little taco joint next to a Chipotle (weird) but worth a visit for quick and cheapish eats. Loved the steak and chicken tacos I had, but I definitely had taco envy when my dining mates ordered chorizo. I think 3 of their tacos is a perfect serving size if you're starving, given that they double-up on the tortillas. Note: Their tortilla chips are beyond hard, maybe because they're so thick, but the pico de gallo and guacamole is to die for!

If you love Baja style fish tacos you probably hail from California (as do I) and miss them constantly. Give this place a try. Their tacos are delicious and if I lived near this place I'd go regularly. They're not 100% Baja perfection (maybe the California atmosphere is the missing ingredient) but they come close and are lovingly prepared and absolutely yummy. They also have a variety of fish choices, so you can have some fun with mixing up the selection.

While we do wish we could transplant a little of that California atmosphere to NYC, we're glad that our tacos can give you a taste of home, Adria! (we often miss our San Diego home, too) Thanks for the good word and we'll hope to see you for a taco soon! Cheers, Michael
