I have not been to Kirkland Whole Life Clinic, but I have practiced yoga under the direction of Sonia Weirich, so this is an endorsement of Sonia as a practitioner at the Kirkland Whole Life Clinic. Sonia is a very gifted yoga instructor. Her focus on the breath has been fundamental in shaping my own yoga practice. Sonia offers insightful meditations and focuses for each practice that are centered around aspects of the breath and parts of the body. These meditations can be taken "off the mat" and into daily life. (I often found myself thinking about these meditations for weeks after the actual practice.) Sonia's instruction has helped me to find peace and calm both on and off of the mat. I have recently moved away from the Seattle area, and I am very sad that I can't practice with Sonia any more. Having been to numerous yoga studios in the Seattle area and beyond, I can say with confidence that Sonia is one of the best instructors out there for students or clients seeking a whole person approach to the practice of yoga.

For years I have been dealing with chronic neck and shoulder pain as well as low back/hip pain resulting from stress and carrying around two heavy kids. I am a believer in yoga and have been practicing yoga for years mainly as an aid to relieve stress and help me relax, but also as a means to build strength and flexibility. Weekly yoga sessions with Sonia were helping me maintain a sense of well-being, but my neck and shoulder and low back/hip pain persisted. Seeking other help, I enrolled a monthly deep tissue massage program with Lindsey. These monthly massages provided me with relief from my pain, but the pain would always come back. Seeking additional help, I began to see Dr.Duarte for acupuncture on a bi-weekly basis. I don’t know what the magic solution was, but I am now pain free. I now no longer do yoga, get massages or acupuncture for pain relief, but as tools to facilitate a balanced state of well-being. Thank You Kirkland Whole Life Clinic practitioners!

When I walked in I was in a lot of pain in my neck and shoulder making breathing and moving difficult. Dr. Duarte was very attentive was able to isolate what the issue was and with some targeted massage, acupuncture (first time for me) and stretching, I left feeling so much better - like the pain was never there. I highly recommend this place-easy to find easy to park.

I was struggling for months with a severe flare-up of sciatic hip, leg and foot pain caused by inflamed vertebrae in the lumbar spine. My PT suggested I try acupuncture. I researched local providers and was impressed with Dr. Zang's credentials. I could not be happier that I chose ACI Clinic and gave this a try. After the first treatment, much to my surprise and delight, my pain level decreased significantly, so I decided to try a series of treatments over the next month. At the end of the month, my sciatic pain is so negligible that I barely know anything's amiss. Even my early morning pain has disappeared, which I never expected. Also, my previously numb lower leg has regained nearly normal sensation. My experience with Dr. Zang has far exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend the ACI Clinic.

I went to Kirkland Whole Life Clinic on the recommendation of my brother who goes to Dr. William Duarte for acupuncture. William has helped my brother a lot with his chemo side effects. I went to William to help with stress and tension. He is extremely knowledgable (which makes sense since hems been doing this for 35 years!) and after one session my stress headaches had gone away. My second session was probably the most relaxed I've been in a long time. I'm really looking forward to my next session. Not only is William great, the entire staff is kind and knowledgeable. I whole heartedly recommend Kirkland Whole Life Clinic.

I don't even know where to begin on how satisfied I am with the services I received at Kirkland Whole Life Clinic. I had been suffering from Sciatica for over a week and when all attempts of my traditional medicating and 'waiting it out' failed, I contacted Whole Life Clinic and I'm so glad I did. Shannon, the office manager, was very educated on the services William (Dr. Duarte) provides and he got me in right away! I had never tried acupuncture before, but was desperate and hopeful for relief. William went over everything with me and walked me through every step and made me feel so comfortable. He made it very clear he was here to help me and never tried to sell me on anything or make me buy unreasonable/affordable package deals or anything. He even mentioned he hoped he wouldn't see me frequently, because then that meant I was doing better. His goal was to get me back on track and then just come in for maintenance appointments. Two days after my first visit, for the first time in almost two weeks I didn't wake up in excruciating pain. After the 2nd appointment I could finally walk! I am such a believer I'm telling everyone I know that suffers from back/nerve pain to try this out! If you are afraid to go because of the scary word 'needles,' don't be - I was so relaxed I actually fell asleep! I am so glad I found Kirkland Whole Life Clinic and will be forever grateful for them giving my quality of life back!

I've had sciatica for at least 10 years. I tried every option to ease the pain in my back and left leg, all to no avail. I finally tried accupinture on a cruise ship, and was amazed at the relief I got. DR Zang was recommended as my follow up course of action when I got home. After 10 treatments, my pain is signifigantly less. I also had a frozen shoulder which DR Zang has completely cured! I'm a strong advocate. If you have'nt tried accupuncture, I strongly reccommend it!

I'm so grateful that Dr. Zang cured my allergy with accupuncture. I have had allergy for more than 10 years. Now it's getting to the point that no medication works any more. It was so miserable that I literally sneezed and blew my nose all the time unless I was sleeping. I didn't dare to go outside in a clear day. My coworker recommended Dr. Zang as all her headache, allergy and night sweat issue were relieved by accupuncture. I decided to try it. It was amazing that after the first accupuncture treatment, I only sneezed a couple of times the next day. After several accupuncture treatment, I even went for a hike during a day with high pollen count. Wow, the only regret I have is that I didn't see Dr. Zang earlier.
