The methods talked about in my post above are all "aerobic" (oxygen) methods...what you're talking about is "anaerobic" or steeping! I have never used steeping as a method to making compost tea out of any type of "manure"...I've only steeped compost that was made from kitchen waste, etc. You don't want to steep any type of compost that is not fully decomposed as it could still contain harmful bacteria. You would want to create a "tea bag" to put your compost in. I'll be doing a post soon on my site about the full process of "steeping" and I'll post it here!
