The first 23 of 60 artists to showcase at this year’s World Music Expo (WOMEX) in Spain from 19 to 23 October have been revealed. Music In Africa in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Nairobi will bring together Kenyan music industry stakeholders to discuss the country’s music policy on Wednesday 29 June. Panellists include Perry Alando, Merit Simiyu Wambati and Maureen Kunga from the band Elani. The panel will be moderated by popular media personality Anyiko Owoko. The discussion will start at 6pm.
