When Apple finally enters the gaming market they will win by changing the game.
What I’m about to say is undoubtedly going to piss some of you off. And that’s fine. Because in a few years, I’ll be right and you’ll look silly...

Tsk, tsk, Samsung. Shame on you.

ArsTechinca reports:

“After a good bit of sleuthing, we can confidently say Samsung appears to be artificially boosting the US Note 3′s benchmark scores with a special, high-power CPU mode that kicks in when the device runs a large number of popular benchmarking apps. Samsung did something similar with the international Galaxy S 4′s GPU, but this is the first time we’ve seen the boost on a US device. We also found a way to disable this special CPU mode, so for the first time we can see just how much Samsung’s benchmark optimizations affect benchmark scores.”

It looks like Apple Marketing SVP Phil Schiller isn't very impressed with Samsung's latest Galaxy Note 3 smartphone, voicing his opinion out over Twitter. The marketing honcho tweeted the word “shenanigans” with a link to an ArsTechinca story about inflated Galaxy Note 3 benchmarks.

Yeah. What a bunch of shits. What an uninspired device too. Fucking boring. I was waiting for the Note 3 release too. But I can't get behind it. Instead I moved to AT&T so I can enter the world of unlocked devices, and preordered an unlocked Xperia Z Ultra. Damn thing's a monster.

Gonna just leave this here.

"We had not heard of a program called PRISM until yesterday."

"We do not provide any government agency with direct access to our servers, and any government agency requesting customer content must get a court order."
-Apple, Jun 16, 2013
http://www.apple.com/apples-commitment-to-customer-privacy/

"Facebook is not and has never been part of any program to give the US or any other government direct access to our servers. We have never received a blanket request or court order from any government agency asking for information or metadata in bulk, like the one Verizon reportedly received. And if we did, we would fight it aggressively. We hadn't even heard of PRISM before yesterday."

"NSA paid millions to cover Prism compliance costs for tech companies. Top-secret files show first evidence of financial relationship."
-The Guardian, August 22, 2013

• Top-secret files show first evidence of financial relationship • Prism companies include Google and Yahoo, says NSA • Costs were incurred after 2011 Fisa court ruling

PC has better graphics, higher frame rates, etc. etc. All true.

But are PC gamers having more fun? I'm not convinced. How do we fund that study?

A great give away anyone could benefit from. Wish you all luck, but hope I'm fortunate enough to win.

And thanks for the great giveaway.

Peace.

I like things like this sometimes, but some are just so obvious, like this one.

It'll make you road kill. Plus chicken shits run. Hit and run. There is a special place I've got in my mind. Where I get to drive those crazy nutso guys. Right straight to absolute pure and unadulterated insanity. Citizens of their own country. That would leave some one hurt. Because of them. The auto is like an enhancement to murder. I on the other hand have a perfect driving record except for an unpaid parking ticket. I left a citizen of hell back in hell though. I wasn't afraid it was funny and to me still is. Fat as Kathy you might say.

They could have asked to license the technology, or do what everyone else does, innovate or compete in a different space.

But instead they took the easy way out and stole it. Now they want to complain about the penalty?

Wouldn't life be simpler is more megapixels made a better picture? So many people don't seem to understand that there is more than raw specifications.
