A good friend brought me here for lunch and to lift my spirits. The soup of the day happened to be butternut squash and it was excellent. I know my soups and this was amazing. I'll be back a lot this winter. On to more serious matters... The hummous is excellent, perfectly creamy and (when served with fava beans as ours was) delicious. Supposedly they make it every two hours instead of making huge quantities all at once. Whatever they're doing, it's working. They even had gluten free flatbreads (made of corn) for me to scoop with since I can't have wheat. The waiter was really pleasant and helpful.

Always go with a friend or two, so you can order the hummus tasting meal! Best restaurant of its kind on the Upper West Side. While the restaurant itself is small, I've never had trouble getting a seat. The staff is always pleasant and more than happy to accommodate my group's various requests. If you've only ever had lunch or dinner here, be sure to stop by in the morning, for a great breakfast menu. Highly recommended

Very good hummus! One of the best I had outside the middle east... The prices are a bit high but probably reasonable for NYC ($11 for hummus plate). Service kind and swift. They also allowed bringing in a stroller.

For a place that mainly does hummus, you'd expect it to do a pretty good job. And it did. The platter was big enough for two to share, and had four different toppings. We were given copious amounts of pita bread to accompany the hummus.

I crave this place weekly!! The shakshuka is divine and filling. And the hummus is so fresh and creamy.

A great spot for a light dinner. I recommend starting with a plate of hummus, falafel, and cauliflower. For an entree, try either the veggie patties or shakshuka.
